I have to say that normally I prefer slow songs, even songs below my AAA-comfortable level, but this round's songs are my favorite.
...even though I quit out of solros and rave7. |

Everyone that I've talked to in terms of simfiling/friends for some reason, seemed to really REALLY like this file. When I talked to bmah about it, I told him that I didn't expect the file to get many ratings above a 7 (minimum accepted rating >= 6.5) in the Hard Songs Batch... ...somehow, it ended up as the highest rated file in the entire batch (average over 8.5 @_@). This file is a clear example of an extremely technical and accurate file that really isn't clean by any means. Believe me, if I had it any other way, this file wouldn't exist in this way. The transitions in the file are absolutely ridiculous, and play out worse than DeVouR in some spots - I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It works great as a tournament file, but it's definitely not a file I plan on playing much in terms of rank because it's nothing short of frustrating. EDIT: Also - fun fact: Scrap Syndrome was cut down by nearly a minute already. Finishing the file for this song was a personal thing, considering the fact that I tried charting this two other times in the past four years and never finished. |

I was playing do I smile but I died of laughter with the extreme speed quarter note rolls so I dropped my hands

the problem I have with scrap syndrome is that it's insanely stamina draining
look at either of my replays for it, I have sdg until I get to the second trill, and then I'm so tired by the end of the file that I'm dumping goods and boos all over the place

If you play some intense SM before it, it'll feel way easier (I haven't played it yet, but it's true for pretty much everything on FFR after I play hard stuff on SM).

Choofers I'm surprised that you find Scrap stamina draining considering I saw your Freedom Dive vid and you did pretty damn well on that.

Throwing Fire - Spot on file, the grace notes were fun to hit along with everything else. Good job Carlos. 8)
Fish Hell - Certainly sounds "hell-ish." Good job with this one, patterns vary quite nicely and flows great. Treasure Planet - Fairly nice jumpstream file, the jumps in the break didn't really feel needed. Nicely put file at least. SOLROS - Seems like a bmah file. Excellent work Wilson, had great sync and placement of patterns. Music (For Kirby) - was that waltz of the big dogs rofl. Runningmen were fluent and well put, that ending just rapidly increases the difficulty. Good work on this one. Scrap Syndrome - Starts to become a pain at the ending. Dense patterns and just tough overall. Great file. do i smile? - Like this a lot more than AJ's even though his is harder and provides more of a challenge, and the speed part in both charts still stand out from everything else. Fluent patterns as always from Tristan and a great file overall. Rave7 - i will shit in everything you eat hi19. Just insane, file is fun to play and get wrecked by. Good ****ing job is what I have to say. |
