It's Pop for me, since I am a canadian, but americans (who heavily outnumber us canadians here) will vote soda.

Actually depends on where you're from in the US. Like I'm from Jersey so I'm used to Soda, but when I moved down south for a bit it was pop there.

I was born in NC and it's always been Soda here, but when I lived in Michigan it was Pop.

In Illinois we usually say pop. That's what I always used when I was little. But now I use soda more often. So I guess I use both. And yes, it depends on where you live in the U.S. So this whole "the U.S. will outnumber us" statement isn't valid.

i grew up in ohio so it was always 'pop,' but moved to CA a couple years ago where it's 'soda' all over. still have to stop myself and forcibly say 'soda' every time haha no one knows wtf pop is
