Just a link back to the post with the ratings again (by the time I was finished, it was already two pages behind so, haha, oops ... )
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...&postcount=573 Addressing Das Ist Musik: It and 0 were the last two songs I looked at, on the last two days ... By that time, I knew I should have passed it ... but I should have just passed it the first time I ever looked at it, earlier... So late, I didn't want to burden anyone else ... but I didn't think about how I was cheating you out of a good critique, because like, I didn't think it would get accepted anyway ... I really hope that some other judges might volunteer to look at your file, to get a more fair review to really help with making it a better file ... I know I didn't help at all, and I wasn't nice about it, and I apologize for all that. An apology right now won't help at all, though, and I don't think you care to hear excuses ... Urf, but if any other judges think they can look at the file and give more constructive comments, please do so. It deserves a more fair treatment than what happened. P.S. I won't be online at all tomorrow, at least, not until late. I'm moving back into the dorms. Going to close up real soon and pack the computer stuff. |

It looks like the hard songs batch will not happen - for now. The next batch as I know it will likely be the commencing of regular batches once again.

Clash on the Big Bridge + + + + = 20
CmR + +. + + = 19 Creature at the Mill +. ? + +. = 15 'Aight cool I can still do this "stepping" thing apparently ![]() Creature at the Mill was the only file I didn't show to anyone, sort of added it in at the last moment so I totally see why it had more issues. Going to address one thing because all the judges mentioned it: I would gladly cut Clash on the Big Bridge, but you aren't allowed to cut Black Mages songs due to the terms of their permission! Believe me I know it's a little long; I also feel I did a good job making it fun and engaging for the entire length so bite me :3 Silvuh you wrote a goddamn stepmania essay holy shit man 0_o respect All my judging notes in one place just for my convenience: I might make a comment about a few of them but off the top of my head most of it seems like good advice and stuff that I never really considered. No drama here move along little kids

If I have to resubmit Luna Ascension I'm not changing a thing about it. One ? review doesn't give me enough sway to make a change when it got ++, + and +. on the others.
Yay for not getting 17 with a ++, hi5 dossar

Yeah, when that happens, there's little reason to change your file if you don't think it's necessary.

39 accepted files out of 83 files, and even more when the voting of borderline files is done.
REALLY HIGH acceptance rate this time, but ok since it's a special batch. Voting will be done for all "16" files and a 15 file. |
