I've seen similar billboards stating that Jesus himself is going to come back on this day with absolute certainty.

I'd really like it if religion would collapse already. It's kind of sad that the human race has been civilized for some thousands of years now and not all of us have figured out that magical superpowered mythical beings don't exist.

It's ironic because the flood story in the bible was stolen from a middle eastern religion from the story of Gilgamesh (or Gilgamesh epic) which was originally a story that in short was a flood caused by their gods because the main god (male) Ea was pissed that humanity was too noisy. Then the sensible god (female) Ishtar basically tells everyone else they were stupid to wipe out (essentially) the human race minus one chosen human and his family.

This is a Babylonian/Assyrian belief system. The story of Gilgamesh himself is actually a good read.

Oh and the theory is retarded sorry lol.
