For the past couple of years, I've been that guy who will go into a tech store that is demo'ing a really expensive set of headphones, and use them with my ipod for a couple hours. However, I've been using crap $10 sony earbuds for my normal music life...
WELL NO MORE After 30 minutes of arguing with my mom, I got my hands on a set of bose over ears at target, and its been eargasms ever since. My only issue is that it doesnt have a super loud max volume when used on my ipod (might be a good thing) but I'm using them on my computer right now and I'm loving it. Pumping that bass up... Anyone else thing they have better headphones?

I have Bose around ear headphones, and they're awesome. Comfortable, and sound quality is great. I love them.
That said, they are definitely not worth the money (Mine were a gift). I use these on my PC |

Nice, I have not purchased Bose headphones yet but have heard both good and bad things about them from people. I really need to try a pair out sometime. Currently I use a pair of ATH-M50's =3

If you paid for bose you likely overspent significantly for products that could be purchased for much cheaper
Regardless, hf with your new better sounds :')

I don't see the need for massive bulky headphones unless you're a dj (and even then, it's most likely just stage presence)
http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb.nsf/p?openform&pc^eb^PLUG These are the only earbuds I will probably ever use. Cheap, and very very durable. I had my last pair for almost a year and a half before I had to buy new ones. And even then, they were still $15. They form to your ears, and are comfortable as ****. I can wear these all day and be perfectly fine. |

That's pretty good stuff.
I usually associate expensive headphones with DJs or PC gamers. I guess music and gaming made you want to buy this. I do admit it's kind of ridiculously expensive. If I had that 150 for something to use for my PC, I would have bought the Tron keyboard Oscar/Staiain showed me (I forget). A light up macros using numpad detachable gaming keyboard that was just sick as ****. It's 150 as well. Now THAT I might have been really jealous of haha |

congrats.
I've been wanting STAX SR-007 but haven't bought yet (since I'm not home most of the time recently and I usually listen to the music with speakers, plus it's quite expensive). |

Bose are good quality sound wise but I'm not spending 100+ for a pair i'd be anble to snap in half.
I like my sony thick ass corded ones. They're great. I hate ear buds because they suck. They don't stay in my ear and their quality is always so bad. |

Bose headphones are overly priced. Good headphones just not worth the money
