...and it was the smoothest operation I could imagine. No pain all day and I haven't even used the pain meds! After all the bad stories I've heard I consider myself pretty lucky, wewt!

Not to mention the laughing gas was awesome... I basically teleported to the waiting room XD

I had to get all 4 taken out when I had the procedure done. I don't think they used enough laughing gas or something because I was still pretty aware of what was going on (as in it hurt when it was going on). The pain afterwards wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but still pretty bad. The worst part IMO was making sure no food got stuck in the holes. 3 of the 4 holes were larger than they should have been because the teeth were really big. Oh, and trying to keep the gauze in my mouth after I got home from it and trying to go to sleep sucked.

Some people are just lucky like that. I however, was unlucky (As always). Swollen cheeks for a week and mildly bad pain for the day after the procedure.

i had mine taken out before they even came in. the dentist said it would be much less painful to pop them out before the roots grow in and he was very right. no pain at all.

I had a total of 5 other teeth removed between the ages of 10 and 13, so I don't have to have mine removed.

You are very lucky. I had about 3 days of not really being able to move around, and then 5 days total of swollen cheeks when I had my 3 wisdom teeth out.
I've heard that it's very rare to only have three wisdom teeth, but whatever.

Lucky.. I've heard such horrible stories about getting your wisdom teeth removed. I guess some of it might be because some people react differently to the gas/or pain meds.

Like before I got braces I heard people say how much it hurt. Then I went to get them put on and it was nothing. Like they don't even use their tools or anything. Just a little glue and thread the wires through.

I was bleeding like hell for 12 hours. I couldn't even go to bed because I thought I was going to drown in blood.

It went incredibly fast too. I woke up while they were wheeling me back, actually.

I had 5 taken out. Apparently I had an extra.
