I recall seeing a news article very very long ago about the matter.

They say that the child should have a say in it and would easily decline the offer if they were old enough to make the decision. If this is the case, why is it right to do it to a newborn baby? One that is going to be suffering SEVERELY from the pain for a long long while?

I'm not and glad.

Anyway...circumcision is dangerous. Anything that involves sexual organs, sharp objects and a possible mistake is dangerous. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably shouldn't or doesn't own their original set of sexual organs.

dudes and dudettes..... don't blame me for the wrong plural there (if it is one). I am circumsized, and i see nothing wrong here... 'cept for maybe the fact that i am too big for most girls (wink wink, nudge nudge). lol.. but anyways, back to the point. I had no say it in and I was like 4 when it was done or so, and I remember it too. Not painful really..and I'm kind of glad I got it done too for the already mentioned reasons, cleaner type of thing my family goes by. Also it's kind of traditional I'm guessing so whatever..

I guess I'm lucky? Never had any of those problems... and I'm quit sure I have no problems with my erections or are deemed with upcoming sexual matters.

Mine has plenty of feeling.

FACT: There is a such thing as penis cancer. The chances of getting it are very small, though. Far below 1% of men.

FACT: Circumcision reduces the risk to 0.

While the chance is low in the first place, I don't screw around with penis cancer on the line. Glad I got circumcised.

im glad i DIDNT get circumsized and u can get cancer from anything nowadays, it runs in my family unfortunately (skin cancer not penis) cancer of the penis would suck though, although that guy would suck to your penis to get the blood out. Wait a minute, wait a minute...CUT TOO SHORT? I have never EVER heard of this happening. They don't cut off the head of the penis...they cut off the FORESKIN. There's a very distinct place where it's attached and therefore removed, and it's impossible to cut it too short.

Risk of infection is very mild and all hospitals and any good mohel use sterile instruments and give after-care instructions. If you've ever had a mole removed, or a paper cut, you've probably had more chance of infection.

I have never heard of anyone having a problem with an erection from a circumcision, nor do any of the guys I know talk about dulled sensation from rubbing against fabrics. Where do you get your info? It would be interesting to see your sources, to understand where you're coming from.

Agreed. Although this article may disgust you because he sucks the blood off, he's only ONE guy performing a RARE procedure. Plus if you have a problem with your parents having you snipped, then you know what to do when you have a kid of your own.

It is NOT a razor. It has a scissor grip, and I guess you could say it's like an old fashioned nail clipper. They even use a special chair. And you probably heard about those "horror" stories on FOX, so leave talking about circumcision to the ones that have been circumcised. I don't like being told what to think.
