It's just a really big turbo. It makes you go zoom zoom.

sure. i really like accords, actually. one of my cars is an acura tsx which is basically a sport-luxury accord straight out of japan. i guess your accord would probably be more similar to the acura tl, though. either way there are a bunch of cars that share the same platform, so you have a lot of options as to what you can do!

the 4ws is electronic and from what i've heard, somewhat unpredictable. i watched my mechanic do some work on a non-turbo 300gt and that was enough to turn me away... i'm a third generation honda prelude guy. they're not monsters by any means, but they'll get you around the corners faster than most anything out there civics and integras are a joke...

Re: I has a new toy.
Actually, all VR-4's are around 3800lbs right off the lot (source 3S forums), although many sources would have you think differently. I thought it was over 4,000lbs as well, until it was weighed at a shop.
Preludes are nice, I just like massive amounts of horsepower, and the acceleration you can achieve with turbochargers is amazing. Civics and Integras are pretty lame, I've only come across maybe 2 Civics that had any decent amount of power, and never seen an Integra that could even stay within a few buslengths of me. I don't think any front wheel drive car should ever be tuned, unless it's converted to rear wheel. |

When it comes down to it, you know your 3000GT is no match for the beastly power of the AE86. It'll get you, like a space boy! (Woah woah woah woah!)
Your car doesn't need all the flashy upgrades, by the way. It just needs you to be an absolute beast on the road. ;D Last edited by Infernova; 02-5-2009 at 04:43 PM.. |

Re: I has a new toy.
Should pull close to, or maybe even a little over 700 AWHP if I do everything right. I'll need to shell out the money for a set of racing pistons though, otherwise the torque is going to destroy the engine. Also will need a larger exhaust system, or just run straight downpipe. Along with replacing all of the gaskets and seals, which I'm doing anyway.
Might as well start to lighten the car up as well, I don't really need the back seats, it's not like anyone can fit back there anyway. This will be a straight up drag car, and I want to eventually be able to hit low 9's in this. I need a Geo Metro for around town xD Ps. I guess cars with 3 turbos are fast. >>> http://www.whoomp.com/m/3107.html Last edited by darkshark; 02-6-2009 at 10:01 AM.. |

LMAO. Good luck getting 9's! I'm not able to drive yet, but I can't wait to get a car. I LOVE cars! :P
