I've seen so many people posting 'I just got an AAA!' and also the other way around--'I just got a AAA!'...
Which way do you say it? 'Triple-A' or 'A-A-A'? I personally think of 'triple A', because saying 'A-A-A' just sound really wierd in my mind, and I always get annoyed in my mind when I see people saying 'I got an AAA'...

Triple A, if you played DDR/beatmania, that's how it's been said since the beginning.

Yeah, I'd never been able to think of it as 'A-A-A', and when I played DDR (what little I did play), I always imagined it the way I do now.

Triple-A in french sounds better A-A-A, so I say Triple-A.

I've sometimes wondered about this subject. Most of the time I say it the second way...
but maybe I should start calling it "triple-A" more? eh eh eh?

Triple-A flows so much easier. Plus, you don't call the American Automobile Association, or whatever it is, the Ay Ay Ay. And you don't call them Ay Ay Ay batteries. In team competitions where divisions are based on the size of the teams, such as in Marching Band, there are divisions such as Division C, B, A, AA, AAA, AAAA, and AAAAA. AAA is sometimes called triple-A and sometimes called 3A. So I'd accept either 3A or triple-A as the pronunciation of AAA.

THIS.
I used to say A-A-A, but I broke the habit. I now say triple-A, unless I'm emphasizing the awesomeness of my score. A A A bish
