Default ffr lingo

hmm is there a sticky somewhere of some comprehensive list of all ffr/stepmaina lingo?
if not i think there should be and want to start one.
partly because i am curious about "rolls".
i suspect they are what i call trills but i cant be sure.

but anyways if there is not already a list and if it seems like a good idea to the general public to have one, and a mod is down to sticky lets make one. i guess alphabetical listing would make the most sense. im not sure if abreviated song titles would/should be included.

aaa
av miss
bf
black flag
fc
hands
index
jump streams
mines
rolls
stream
spread

im drawing a blank so submit anything you think should be added unless you dont think this is necessary then just twiddle your thumbs. but most importantly tell me what a roll is please lol

AAA = All and only perfects (max possible score)
av miss = you hit an average, but also get a miss, but this was fixed so dont worry bout it
bf = blackflag
blackflag = get only 1 good on a song and the rest only perfects
fc = full combo (all notes hit)

as for the rest there is a thread about it here:
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=37697

EDIT : index and spread are playstyles, shown here :
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ighlight=index

FFR rolls 4268 are different from SM rolls 2222, so that's FFR lingo too.

FFR bf (good) is different from SM bf (wut (I think great, but I'm not sure)), so that's FFR lingo too.

Those are the keys you'd press on numpad to hit the given pattern.

Roll in SM (accd. to what I read) is a jack (2222 or vvvv)

FFR Roll is 4268 (< v > ^)

Get it?

Patterns referred to as 'rolls' in SM are the same as FFR rolls.
However, there is also the note type roll, which designates a long note that must be hit every 0.3 seconds or more frequently to hold, in SM 4.0 only.

Yes, it is confusing.

aaa all perfects in a song

av miss an old problem in the game thats fixed now, where on some songs it was imposible to get all perfects

bf black flag/ boy friend/ best friend lol

black flag all but one perfect in a song that one arrow being a good

fc full combo

hands three or more arrows at once

index playing with only your 2 index fingers

mines something only in SM does'nt apply to FFR, but mines are notes usually off beat, that you are not suposed to hit, or you get penlized.

spread playing with 4 fingers with keys other then the arrow keys.

FFR Rolls aren't 4268, that's a spin, you know, like from DDR/ITG.
FFR rolls are 4286 (<v^>), your fingers just roll across the keys.

perfects in ffr having a 0.1 second timing window while marvelous in stepmania have a 0.0225 second timing window.

Really? I played Need the Speed by m1dy on SM 3.95 the other day and there were definitely rolls in there.

rolls work in 3.95 for sure (as in a hold that needs to be continually tapped)

rolls in sm/ffr are patterns like right up down left or vice versa that are continuous

Whenever I say roll in another SM based community, they think the note type more than the step pattern.

ie OD.
