Re: family issues
Just sit back and ignore it. What ever she is being yelled at for, she obviously did something to deserve it.

Re: family issues
ITT: Crash gets srs.
I have a friend whose father locked him in a closet the first day of winter vacation last year. He stayed there on minimal rations until April, when his father was finally caught. We all thought he was dead. Certainly a lot skinnier, but not dead. Anyhow, somehow this crazed man was allowed to remain my friend's legal guardian, and shortly after that, my friend ran away with his girlfriend. To where? Kentucky! And I live in Oregon by the way, so that's a few thousand miles. Later he's caught (somehow). Comes back with an STD and a nasty injury to the head. His grades are now falling, he's 17 and still a Freshman, and he's about to drop out of school. There's some [slightly irrelevant] family issues for you. Anyway, running away is not the answer. You're probably gonna get caught by the cops. And if you don't, you'll probably end up starving. Like someone else in this thread said, maybe your sister needs to be yelled at. Is she getting into trouble? Drugs? Sex? If all else fails, do what I do. Put your headphones on, blast some music, and spend the day on the computer. Or go outside and hang out with anyone you can. I know that's what my above friend used to do a lot, to the point of desperation for social interaction, only to escape his pathetic excuse for a family.

Re: family issues
I'm pretty sure this doesn't apply to people that actually have a good relationship with their parents. I'm unable to comprehend why so many teenagers bitch about their parents and think their life is SO hard. Everyone's parents can't be dicks, people.
P.S. This post doesn't apply to the OP's post. To that I respond: reason with them, and if that fails yell at them for being douchebags. This is going on the assumption that they're be irrational. If you're sister deserves it then tell your sister to doing whatever the hell it is she's doing. |
