Default Astral Feelings - Emotional Orchestral

This is an orchestral piece that has a lot of emotion put into it. It's a collaboration and the entire piece was done by my friend WyldFyre1 and I. There's so much in this song like strings, flutes, choir, piano, percussion etc and so much time was put into it. It's a great song and it's gotten top 5 this week on Newgrounds.com

Check it out and review and tell us what you think. We personally love the song as we think we did a great job.

Well, I can see why it's done well. It's a pretty good song!

Things I'd like to see more of:

Variation and variety in the temple block thingy at the start. The one part I really didn't like in this song.
More emotion (dynamics!) in the piano. I'm sorry, it still sounded rather MIDI-ish, flat...
More oomph to the crashes. Maybe with full orchestra hits!
Fuller bass notes

That's the second time we've been told about the crashes, orchestral percs and bass notes! The last person specified on all three of those fields. Thanks though

The piano at the beginning sounds like it needs to be quantized, bad. Also, as hi19 said, it needs to be more dynamic/humanized, it'll give a lot more emotion to it. The timpani-like toms you got going on are sort of random too and sound like they need to be quantized. Also, the song isn't completely finalized; open it up in audacity or something and amplify it to max volume.

The pianos seem a bit too compressed and loud, and the 'treble' piano and the 'bass' piano are clashing; are they the same channel? If so, separate them so you can make one more towards the bass end and one more towards the treble end.

The arrangement and melody are really sweet though. Great job on this man! (:

We know about the quantize and I understand about the dynamism and stuff. Also the randomness in the percussions is done purposely. Anyways, thanks for the review.
