Really, now? Well, I might pick it up. I mean, I loved Wild ARMs 3, and the battle system in 4 was the only welcome change.

choro q was a fun racing game ive ever played especially hg 2, it was nostalgic, but not much knows about it
im not sure if taiko no tatsujin is over or underated.

I was hoping someone would say this. It really was just a fantastic game in every way... and yet definitely underrated. I can still remember the music to Mumbo Mountain... it is forever stuck in my head.

Read, buddy. I said Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger's Sequel. As far as I know, many Chrono Trigger fans haven't even played Cross, it's a shame. (I guess in some way this kind of proves my point, haha.)

It's because the main character doesn't have blue hair.

1's main has blue hair. 2, blue hair, 3's main character is a woman. 4 breaks the streak. And 5 fixes it, AND has a character that looks almost exactly like Yoko from Gurren Lagann. That's obviously why 4 sucks; no blue hair. Oh, and I haven't played 4 or 5 yet. ;_;

That and the story sucks more than other generic RPGs. And no wild west setting ;-;

rofl, wow, I feel like a 1st class stooge. It was an honest mistake though, sometimes you see something entirely different when reading something. Anyway, I've played Cross, and while it wasn't a bad game in its own right, wasn't quite up to the Chrono Trigger par IMO. Again, I apologize for that, bad form on my part.

Also, I hate to risk sounding like a massive ass here but it wasn't really Trigger's sequel. It was more the sequel to a game never released here called Radical Dreamers. All the characters are from Radical Dreamers, as is the main storyline, and the game only relates to Trigger in name. Just saying... I do know about this game :)

Hehe. 5 kept the HEX system so I guess you'd like that. Main problem I have with it though is you have 6 freaking characters and can only use 3 in a battle at once D:

There's a real underrated game, haha. Radical Dreamers was released, by the way. It was a text adventure iirc. I haven't played it (and don't plan on it).

Oh, and on the back of Chrono Cross' case, it says something about '20 years after Chrono Trigger' or something so I'm pretty sure it is meant to be Trigger's sequel; Radical Dreamers is just a text adventure no one cares about. ):

Glad you played Cross though rofl, you're one of the very few. (I honestly like Cross better than Trigger but that's irrelevant.)

No joke? I was sure Radical Dreams was Famicom only. Well, I guess some things are similar to Trigger. I always thought it was more like Radical Dreamers, but I guess they stuck some Trigger in there to sell? lmao. Awesome you know about it though.

that's all I really wanted to say but uhhh virtua fighter games seem to have gotten less hype than other fighting games even though they're deep and accessible? I dunno I'm not into these obscure rpg shenanigans and whatnot

Underrated Gears of War? I don't think so. That got so much hype, and I didn't even like the game that much. It wasn't as fun as everyone made it out to be.

Usually an underrated game is one where few people have played it. Big titles that are not "overhyped" have been "hyped" enough, not under.

Overrated=Halo (sorry peoples, it's my opinion you're gonna have to deal)

Underrated=Digital Devil Saga

Almost all of the Atlus games are underrated, but really I personally think Digital Devil Saga was better then all of the final fantasies, again it's my opinion.

P.S: I mean both Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, I usually just think of them as one big long game.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Ages for the GBA were a lot of fun for me. At the time, they had pretty good graphics for the GBA, and the fighting system was a lot of fun. The use of Djinni made it all the more better. And the storyline was amazing, what with alchemy, and lighthouses for each of the elements.
