Don't worry Xiao. You're relatively easy compared to the other people I play on a regular basis, so I don't rage unless my combos are failing copiously.

Oh, and for the record, yeah I'm not great, but I'm not playing you seriously 100% of the time either. Ever wonder why I'm just standing around at the start of a match, or just spamming f.A?

yeah, even though we only played like twice Youmu mirror matches, when you had the j.A connect while I was in the air, you never comboed out of it.

Hello, i just downloaded this game via bittorrent, installed it in my PC but somehow i just can't get it to work. I've been fighting with this problem but I just can't find a solution even though I have the japanese language pack installed and I have directx 9 so i think this is not the problem. When i open th075.exe, a white window appears and then a second one telling me that there has been detected a problem and must close. I've looked all over the threads to find an answer but i havn't been lucky enough

please help! I would really like to get to play this fighter. Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but i'm new to this forum

How big was the file? I'm pretty sure you downloaded only the patch for this to happen =/.

Either that or you:

a) Downloaded the demo and tried to patch it
b) You're missing some files required to play this game in the folder.

The size of the torrent download is 662 mb and when installed it takes a lillte bit more than 1 gb. I aslo checked the files that I have installed and it seems that from chidori!'s image i'm missing the files named changes, score.dat, fake_d3d8.dll, info, and Todo...I think I'm doomed

. Should I just download it again and make sure I get a good file or is there any other way to get this missing files and just paste it on the folder. Thanks for the help in advance.

Seems like you downloaded the right one. I was thinking that you might've gotten either the demo or patch =/.

Well, the important one is definitely score.dat. So that's what you are missing. Go to the IaMP Wiki and download the score.dat from there. You'll get every character and stage. You should also download the patch so it would work properly (and to get Chi-...I mean Hong Meiling).

score.dat is created by the game after you start it for the first time. Not having it beforehand isn't the problem.

I've actually already patched it so that is not a problem. Although nobody has talked about this file named "fake_d3d8.dll". IS it necesary? And also my PC is good enough to handle this game so this can't be a problem too. This is getting really suspicious...

.....also what about the "info" file?

fake_d3d8.dll or whatever is necessary, though some computers don't need it.

Lookup the d3d8.dll portion on Google and you'll find a download for it. Download, extract and then place it in the IaMP folder.
