I would love to see some sort of table of the top 10/20 players and the FMO's/FGO's they have AAA'd. Its a project I have wanted to start but never have.
You want to see how truly impressive a AAA is that table would give a good indication.

some vc's imo are way harder than some of the fmo standards up to date

Rows would be players, columns would be the songs.
The rows are sorted descending from the player with most AAA's FMO/FGO AAA's to least. The columns are sorted ascending from easiest FMO to hardest FGO. (Or most AAA'd within the table to least.) The end of the rows and columns have totals so you can see how many FMO/FGO AAA's a player has, or how many top players have AAA'd that particular FMO/FGO. I might make up an example table to get the point across, I just think that a visual aid like that is the best way to show off skill levels, TP numbers to me can be meanginless numbers at times.

I kinda only play VC's to FGO's only in FFR. Hell, For warmups, I just play FMOS. There are times I play VC to FGO's for 6 hours nonstop and I dont feel a thing. I actually never FC FGO songs and only recently have been gunning for that goal. But I have FCed most FMO songs and I could FC all if I really tried.

I can't do 11s. Sorry. Barely FC them half the time.
I still want a lot more changes regarding some of the VC/FMO/FGO difficulty settings... =(

It kind of depends on what you mean by "do". I'm pretty sure I've been able to pass difficulty 11 songs, but my scores on them aren't very good. As noted, simply passing a song isn't terribly difficult with some practice. Getting a good, clean score, like hitting all the notes for a full combo (FC) or getting nothing but perfects (perfect combo = PC, also called a AAA) is a lot harder. I can't do that at the highest difficulty levels, but there must be some people who can.

vROFL is a 13, when he can't pass 11's. He has a long way to go before that, if he can even get the token. Eclipse is easily mashable.

11's aren't rigorous on your hands. Lightly tapping the keys makes it easier. Take songs that are the approx. speed of say, Purple. When I play that song, I barely make any noise on my keyboard. The only time you're putting major stress on your wrists is when you play jack songs. Songs with jacks above 160 BPM or so with a TON of jacks hurt a lot. (well, at least for people like me who suck at jacks)
Chances are a file isn't going hurt you a lot unless the world record on it is something less than a clean AAA. Like 99.9% of all files ever made are AAA'able by the best players. (and probably 95% are AAAA'able) (Assuming you're playing spread) |

Midday and I have amazing PA and suck total ass at 11s. It's quite sad. Well... at least *I* suck total ass. IMO Midday's better than I am.

Yes. Do them a lot of people can. Practice you must young Padawan should you wish to embark on the journey to 11's.

I wonder how many players of the community can actually pass 12s and FC 11s though. Does anyone have a legit guess?
My best advice though is keep playing, build your endurance up. My first year or so I had the ability to play harder songs, just not the endurance to last the song. Oh and speedmods You're crazy not to use them I use around C900 or so on SM Makes things much easier |
