Here's one thing I don't get.

Why when there is a currently-existing credit gamble for a certain amount of credits do people make new credit gambles for that amount of credits rather than accepting a currently-existing credit gamble for the same amount?

For example, say I make a credit gamble for 1000 credits. If after a few minutes it's still there, sometimes someone else makes a new credit gamble for 1000 credits. Then there will be two credit gambles there, mine and the new one. Why not just take mine I already made?

Yeah I don't understand that.

Some ppl follow a strategy of just placing bets. Others think placing bets helps them win more than accepting. It all depends on the person.

I've gone through that too and it is a pain, but that is the gambling life for you in FFR :/

P(Win|Accepting a bet) = .5
P(Win|Placing a bet) = .5
P(Lose|Accepting a bet) = .5
P(Lose|Placing a bet) = .5

You will never go broke if you never bet what you're not willing to lose. If you are at 120k credits, don't bet 100k thinking that "I have a 50% shot of ending up with over 200k!" because you are just as likely to end up with 20k, and soon enough, you go broke.
