ignore the notes?...

on many of the challenging or harder songs i play, the game will ignore many of the notes i hit and even though i am hitting the notes at the perfect time, maybe good sometimes, but im pretty good at getting perfects...anyway it will ignore that i press the note at the right time and give me a miss AND a boo for a note i otherwise would have hit.

this is causing me to be unable to get any better at the game, keeping me from knowing how good i already am, and making me lose ranks in multiplayer. please look into this becouse im about ready to quit playing this game, although i love it. becouse if it doesnt WORK then ive already lost the game. and id REALLY rather not quit playing.

(ps. no im not trying to hit more then 2 notes at the same time....)

If every arrow with your keymaps work fine on easier levels, there is no reason why it shouldn't work on harder levels.

Chances are, you have an ancient computer with an ancient browser that causes you to lag horrendously on dense levels.

OR

You're just not hitting them, because they're harder.

OR you have a wireless keyboard or an ancient keyboard.

My friend has a wired HP standard keyboard which has this same problem. Try getting a new keyboard. If its wireless you need to get a wired keyboard ASAP.

well that was a more stuck up answer then i was looking for...i have an almost brand new emachines desktop that works great. and i know for a fact im hitting the notes, theres no way im missing these notes. yes they are hard to hit but i AM hitting them.

im getting boos when i should be getting perfects and the seldom goods, theres no mistaking that.

Midday and Crazy are right, bro. It's most likely a lag problem or something to do with a wireless keyboard. Try putting the game on low quality and see if that helps any. If not, I would suggest, like Crazy said, getting a new keyboard.

admins probably won't be able to explain it any other way either.

IF your computer and accessories read all four arrows on easy levels fine, can hit jumps, hands, and quads fine, then there is no fault in the game or the computer in reading harder levels. Harder levels still run under the same game conditions as easier levels.

Watch your attitude in asking people questions. We're not being stuck up at all.

Example of stuck up: You suck at FFR, deal with it.

the game is running perfectly smooth, its absolutely clear, so i doubt its my computer, i meen im not ruling my computer out, its possible, but its not lagging. its running smoothly, the notes just arent being hit.

i dont know whats happening but maybe its possible they have had this problem before and know somethin to say, thats what i was checking for.

and guys, im not stupid, if my keyboard was wireless i wouldnt be posting this becouse i would have already blamed keyboard, same goes with the computer. theres a reason i posted it on the forums.

Have you tried mashing?

Go now and try mashing a song. What keys are you using? If you are using arrow keys, it is understandable and means you need to change soon... soon as in now. When you are using hotkeys or the FFR keymap, the letters/numbers you are using cannot be side by side, otherwise it won't allow you to hit three keys simultaneously. If you can't mash through a song using the numberpad, or G-J-I-L set-up, or A-S-K-L set-up, then the problem is your keyboard.

this happens to me every once in a while after i miss a jump in a jumpstream. it doesn't bother me much since it happens so little it is a pain in the ass though

i dont know what you can do to fix it though sorry =/

assuming my computer is old and thinking im too stupid to realise obvious problems is being stuck up as well. i posted this on the forums becouse the answer isnt as obvious as you want it to be.

renew browser, clear cache, reinstall flash.

you can't blame the game. boomisses DO exist, but they don't appear in such a fashion that you can make them occur in Challenging level songs so frequently... If all 4 arrow register on easy songs, they can't NOT register on harder songs. Same game etc. I repeated that 3 times already.

And from what I see, you've only played Lunatic Princess. Not sufficient enough to dictate that it happens to challenging+ songs only, if you've only played one challenging+ song.

Do what Destiny said. Mash FC Lunatic Princess.

Is yours a USB keyboard? If so, it is alright. I'm not 100% sure whether arrow keys hit three or four keys simultaneously on all USB keyboards, but I know for sure that 'Dell' has a pretty good success rate. I use to use arrow keys until the song 'Blooddrunk' was implemented.

Rzr: this isnt about my grammar, its easy to read and at least i dont talk in leet. and some of these people werent trying all that hard to help, rather, they were assuming my problem was obvious and giving me answers i didnt ask for.

My USB Keyboard needs an external program for it to be used on FFR. The in-game FFR keymaps don't support USB Keyboard keys. lol

viper: I hope that none of these solutions work, and that you have to blame your own skill. It is customary to state your OS/browser when stating problems such as these. And you didn't so we couldn't possibly have pinpointed the problem. So we assumed it was the most common problem.
