I'd send my old P266 MMX running FreeBSD to be a dedicated distributed computing box running this and Folding@home (sloooow), but the hard drive has serious issues. :(

Meh. I've had to run it at idle recently, so I'm still at 56.3% and over 106 hours, but I'm still a-goin'. Once I complete this number, I'll re-evaluate whether or not I want to continue, but I think I still will.

I joined. And it sounds like mine is going faster than other people's, I can get blocks done in under 10 minutes at normal/normal.

Running it at normal/normal goes MUCH faster than idle/normal. On idle, It takes me 10-11 minutes for an individual block. I'm not sure exactly how much faster running it on normal is, since I'm asleep when it runs on normal, but I'll try to see.

Yea, mines been running on idle/normal for th past 72:30 hours... and i've completed 309 blks in that time.. It takes me abou 13 minutes on this speed to complete a blck transfer and my overall is at 69.9%... It been going a lot slower recently because I have been playing CS, CS CZ, NS, and DoD pretty much in all the spare time I have.. and because I ran a Full system sweep last night on Ad-ware SE 1.05.. that took a while to do, and ate up alot of processor speed..

I FINISHED MY NUMBERS!!!!!
As I expected, it's not prime (Hey, we've been looking for seventeen numbers out of, so far, about a hundred twenty million). But at least I can feel confident in telling people that I know that (10223*2^6531461)+1 is not prime, just in case anyone asks. So, now I'm off checking k=4847 and n=6984471. It took me somewhere between 210-215 hours to complete the other one, too. Sigh, I hope I don't get to the "or bust" part of this experiment, but that's the most likely thing to happen. EDIT: It seems that I'm the ONLY person to have completed a test, according to the website. In similar news, we're now ranked about 155. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

eh.. 93.5%, I turned it off last night, because I wanted to see it hit 100%.. but it seems as i should of just left it on.. And it's weird I have done more work than you Guido, in every aspect of the site, and have still yet to finish my numbers.. hmm oh well.. I gots another 15 hours left..
EDIT Nvm, I know why you finished before me.. Cause the first time I started this and ran it for some time my comp fucked up.. So after the reset I turned it back on and it started doing two different values..
