A song of SHIKI's I don't have?
Blasphemy!

Oh wait....Emi...

Someone should really break it to Shiki that her vocals are trash...

I'll have to disagree Oh well, thus is the subjective nature of the Internets and music While I do agree you have the right to dislike something, I find "trash" to be a bit harsh...

I think the vocals sound good, although I don't understand what's being said.

Well, her vocals really sounded crappy predominating shiki's songs like blue ray and stuff.

One of the tracks in Sound Holic -Ayashi made me think better of her, though.

The Muzie stuff you don't need an account to download. Just need to find the artist and grab the songs :X

Update: baker did a revision of "celluloid" as appreciation for the number of views for the original. You can find it here:

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3612709

Update2: Shako-Pani released 2 new songs:

http://www.muzie.co.jp/cgi-bin/artist.cgi?id=a040707

Update3: Found a sweet VOCALOID arrangement of 13 songs:

Just press play and it automatically switches between the videos looping it for you

Okay, once I get back from work I'll take a look at getting a hold of them for the permission.

Edit:

Posted on Rakia's muzie BBS, as I don't see any email that I can use.

Tried to send Shako-Pani a request thingy through the muzie messaging system, but it seems like it's timing out. I'll try sending again tommorow morning :S

Edit 2:

rofl, what is it with trying to get permission from Shako-Pani. The muzie email request page still doesn't work, and I finally gave in and decided to signup on myspace in case other artists I need to contact are there, but they're having maintaince on that area so I couldn't. Seriously what gives, I just want to ask for permission

Edit 3

rakiα = Ok:

There, I just sent off the permission request to Shako-Pani. On a side note, I've now been brought to the dark side of having a MySpace account Oh well, I've seen enough cool artists on MySpace that it would have happened sooner or later. Let's hope this doesn't turn into an awkward experience

Another Update:

I did some more updates on the main post. Mainly adding some additional resource links, like Piapro, Muzie and Myspace links. Threw よよP into the main thread. There's a US based site that sells MINAMOTRANCE's Core and Core Duo CDs (in USD), so I updated that too for the getting CD section. Remember all, you've got like 5-6 days left (depending on your timezone) to get ahold of the SHIKI CD's from his site. After that, have as much fun as I did trying to hunt down Lunatic Phaser @_@. Speaking of Lunatic Phaser, I'm in the process of trying to hunt it down using a Japanese goods ordering service I have, and have narrowed it down to potentially 2 stores. We'll see what comes of it.

Update Lord.. today must be a good day or something. Here's the okay from Shako-Pani:

Quote:

私もFL-chan大好きです!

OK.Please use my tune freely!

Damn.. this one took awhile to figure out:

よよP (aka yoyodyne aka Denkitribe aka Radium Software)

(no really, it was all I could find )

Official Site: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/KZR/ (used to be http://www.radiumsoftware.com/)
VoiceBlog (find MP3s here): http://www.voiceblog.jp/yoyodyne/

mp3 pack download:

None Yet

CD info:

Nothing so far, just the voiceblog

Videos:

Denkitribe and よよP videos (NicoNico): http://www.nicovideo.jp/tag/よよP
Denkitribe Youtube Video Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Denkitribe

Regarding Permission

It's a voice blog, and there's no entry on permissions. I'll probably have to do this by a comment entry. Let me know what song if you want to get something stepped, so I can use it as a basis for blanket permissions.

Profile:

So basically, Denkitribe = よよP = Radium Software. From what I can tell, Denkitribe is the youtube presence, which has a bunch of videos on using mostly hardware synths for music creation. よよP is the Hatusne Miku presense.
yoyodyne is used mainly as a generic username presense, such as the video blog. Radium Software is the blog that he has up and running on tech stuff, though it seems like it's also a software development company according to Mixi. That's a lot of alter-egos

Does some hardware synths with KORGs and what not, and software synths with ReBirth.

Most recent work:
消えるメモリー
http://www.voiceblog.jp/yoyodyne/593033.html MP3 + Lyrics
http://www.voiceblog.jp/yoyodyne/593069.html Karoke Version

FL-chan? (I likes FLchanES, which should be stepped for FFR)

Anyway, gj, I'll check on the new artist later. Nvm, now. lolol, good stuffs.

More importantly:

EMERGENCY CRISIS ZOMG:
Due to some initial misconception from like a year ago, FFR has been using Fether's music without his/her permission! O_O_O_O_O_O_O
Apparently, the first person who submitted a Fether song (Sunny Starry Carnival, stepped by Rebirth0) seemed to have had the misconception that Fether = nekomimi mahoutsukai, which is absolutely not true from what their sites tell us.
There is a blog that Fether participates in: http://fether.exblog.jp/
It's clearly not used... -_- but it's the only contact method I could find. I don't find any email address etc. on this site or Fether's bms site: http://fz.bms.ms/
To join that blog, you are required to have a Japanese postal number. I don't know the consequences of faking etc. or how to do it properly.

SOMEONE FIND A WAY TO ASK FETHER NAOOO, ZOMG.

Explain that FFR had a misconception that nekomimi mahoutsukai = Fether due to FFR's illiteracy in Japanese, and that we would like a renewed confirmation of permission.

EDIT: Planning to ask my Japanese friend who lives in Aichi-ken for some help on this matter later today (or tomorrow... more likely). I hope this turns out well. Worst comes to worst, Sunny Starry Carnival, Twinklesky, and Stormy are going to be removed.

You can download the bms or the mp3 on Fether's site. Link below. Unfortunately, can't redistribute material here.

EDIT: Also, I can't find Stormy on any of Fether's sites, but is Stormy really by Fether? I listened to all the possible pieces that Fether made, including the different bms difficulties etc. I never found Stormy. I PM'd ~Zero~, but if anyone can confirm faster, it'd be grateful.

One possibility I'm thinking of is that maybe Fether made a BMS file for one of nekomimi mahoutsukai's songs, or the other way around. Rebirth or someone else saw the saw the song name listed with the author of the BMS FILE and assumed it was the author of the song. I don't see any other way to confuse them. Also, how does tomsfir play into all of this. I think he was also listed as nekomimi mahoutsukai, which could also be completely mistaken.

I fixed the tomsfir problem. He's a bms BGA (background animation) artist, an amateur who doesn't have his own site. nekomima is the true artist for Going on -Spring Wind-

I talked with Rebirth0 concerning the mess up with Fether and nekomima.

believerof19 (22:53:42): Also, I see that Sunny Starry Carnival, stepped by you, was the first Fether song to go on FFR. Did you confirm permission by Fether?
Rebirthsan (22:54:20): me and zaghurim looked for a **** of a long time for more "shuffle" music back in 2006
Rebirthsan (22:54:37): we found this stuff, and it all seemed to be from nekomimi mahoutsukai
Rebirthsan (22:54:42): and with us not knowing japanese
Rebirthsan (22:54:54): we assumed fether was nekomimi under another alias

I mailed nekomima for Fether's email address. I'll do something about this problem. No sweat. Just don't submit any Fether music for a while please XD

Stormy (actually, Zel Stormy, though this title may be inaccurate as well. checking up on that too.) is by Fether. I forgot to download the midi zip.

So from what I can tell, some form of contact has been made. Do I need to go through with trying to get ahold of this person, or should I wait until the initial contact is done?

I mailed nekomima for Fether's email address... which is a very indirect way of contact.

In fact, I may have been blind or something and missed Fether's contact method elsewhere. If we can find a direct contact, then we wouldn't need to rely on nekomima.

You can just sit back on this one, shiro. You do massive work on this thread already. =)
