Brb, stepping the first movement of Beethoven's fifth symphony.

Would anyone actually play it if it made it in? It's only 5 minutes long.

I'd just like to say that I agree with the general sentiment JX seems to be giving about hands

FMO/FGO yeah, C/VC maybe, below that only if they fit ridiculously well, but chances are that in files that easy a jump will suffice.

p.s. first sim author to get a hands file in as a permanent part of the game x)

WELL?
Because it was a "joke" file, made as a joke for April Fool's Day.

Hands for the spaz impaired index players are like hitting the keyboard with two fingers really hard hoping that all four notes will register only to notice you've broke your keyboard and caused your fingers to suffer from a sever case of arthritis.

Yeah, hands are great!

pavon, pavonin (um... what's a pavonin???)

Correct abbreviations that put a on my face:

pav, pavo, TK_pav, pavonine (which is an actual word and I prefer it much more with the "e"), pkon, and anything else as long as it makes sense

Is it Yuuyu's Inaba Milk Tei track? =O

Just in case: make sure you get the title/author checked by me anyway.

Okay, I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere in this thread, but how much are we allowed to change our queued files? I'm to lazy to dig through all the pages. I haven't paid attention to this thread since, well, pretty much since the queue was closed.

I was playing through my queued file - Shining Sky - and I noticed one section that would feel much more proper if I layered it a bit more (measures 69-82). All in all, I added 15 steps and changed a few of the original patterns so it would flow. I'm guessing that is way to much to change, but I know I'm not going to have a chance to resubmit the replacement version before it's in the game, and I refuse to just have you "pull" the file.

So, yeah, I figure it doesn't hurt to ask.

You can resubmit small changes without any rejudging. According to Tass, bigger changes will be relooked at by the judges. Those who made simfiles with major overhauls are better off waiting until the queue reopens, iirc.

I have a stepped song, it's pretty good .. It's called Strawberry Crisis. Guess I'll send it in July, or whenever it opens.
