that's why you have to focus extra special on the 5 minute rock songs. but, that's why i stopped playing EVERY widget song that i released. for a while, i was. was AAAing them all too.

I zone out on purpose sometimes, but it hurts my PA.

The only problem with spacing out during a song is coming back to your senses before the song's over. If I space out, I tend to do really well. If I come back to reality, though, I usually get a Good immediately when I do.

Happens to me on harder songs, once I zone back in I start messing up.
Anyone know how this zoning out phenomenon occurs? |

Yeah I zone out every other song... I got a AAA zoned out today!
(one of the 7 I did today)Sometimes like someone else said, I get all dizzy and stuff... sometimes I see the note but don't hit the key, sometimes I have random thoughts about the style of the song, sometimes whatever else... |

Never happen to me. All I know is that sometimes I don't really pay attention to the song I'm playing. And at times, I sort of do BETTER at it too. I think this goes hand in hand with the fact that some people do better on certain songs the first time they play it.

Indeed, I know how it is to space out to a song. I do it with all Ethnic songs and rock songs.
Just day dreaming a little story as the song plays in the background... Really weird, and I get perfects all the time. It's really spooky ![]() |

I try to zone out. It makes me less nervous on songs, and I tend to do better in general when it happens. Weird.

lol I just remembered... sometimes I'd be playing a song, just chillin' and not paying ANY attention to it... then if I'm doing really good I'll go "holy ****! I think I'm going to AAA it."
Happened to me on Song For All Time. Got the AAA. ALMOST got it in Electro Rush, and at the end I got 2 goods. GRR!!! But got the token at least. =D Ever since I stopped whoring songs. I play them once a day - if I get 1 good I might do it again. If not... whatever. ![]() |

I guess I have something similiar...
When I play, I sometimes just blur out my vision a bit and read the arrows as a whole chunk going up the screen instead of individual arrows... it helps . |

How do you think I AAA?
I start to not pay attention, my thoughts wander off to things like, "I should kick Tass in the ear tomorrow..." random stuff. I also blur my vision and PFC stuff in "hard" songs. It is indeed an awesome experience except when I wake up.
