In your opinion: Easiest AAA to get [Heavy] and [Oni]
Yeah. In your opinion, what do you think is the easiest AAA to get to unlock [Heavy] and [Oni]? If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the two versions of Otaku Speedvibe. Please, post your answers here.

Spell easiest correctly. It's really easy to spell it right (hehehehe). Also, this has been a point of discussion in numerous threads.
With avmiss fix implanted and numerous songs lowered in difficulty, None Would Escape and Silence could be some nice bets for Oni. I got Heavy off of Amefuri Koneko on a random lucky run, long, long ago. |

Re: In your opinion: Eassiest AAA to get [Heavy] and [Oni]
I can't really recommend anything for Oni, since I haven't unlocked it. I do have [Heavy] though.
I AAA'd Video Out A in 1 try. It's got the least amount of steps out of all the songs (only 751), and it's Vospi, which is tight. The steps are kind of ****ed up at times, and the ending is a bit more intense than the rest of the song (rolls and jumpstreamish), but I pulled it off. A few days later I AAA'd Amefuri Koneko as well. Pretty easy if you can get through that tough roll at 250, the mini-jacks in the 500's, and then the trill in the 600's. Those were the only hard parts of that song, in my opinion. Last edited by foilman8805; 05-7-2008 at 05:50 PM.. |

Heavy: Tribal Transcendancy, just a bunch of slow 16th triplets with jumps put in. Easy.
Oni: Silence. All though it is offsync, the repetition in the song makes it unbelievably easy IMO. If that song is no-go, do K8107. It's incredibly easy for a FMO song and I think it should be VC.

Famouz is easy now. Especially since I know the steps. I think it is off the list of something

Re: In your opinion: Eassiest AAA to get [Heavy] and [Oni]
for Heavy I AAA'd "Famouz" in hiphop, and I quess for Oni I agree with omgitznpv.
Silence and None Would Escape would be the easiest. Edit: Famouz of the list? Last edited by frigtionn; 05-8-2008 at 05:30 AM.. |

Re: In your opinion: Easiest AAA to get [Heavy] and [Oni]
tl;dr
Heavy - Famouz, Video Out A, Ruins, Seven (if you can do the jumpstream). Oni - Novo Mundo (ONLY if you can do rolls good), None Would Escape, Southern cross (although it's pretty long), K8107 (if you can do the jumpstream good), Silence. Index Oni - AIM Anthem, LW4. Index Note - Oni isn't index friendly at all, so you shouldn't even care about getting oni unless you play spread, as for me and some others we play a variation of index and spread. Tribal trancendancy I had trouble AAA'ing last week, it's a long song, with horrible steps, and it's just flat out annoying to sit through it...Famouz isn't to easy for people that don't have heavy yet, normally at least, I could still see it being one of the easiest being it's really short and jacks were fixed with avmiss fix. I got my heavy off of Video Out A, took me quite a while to get that damn AAA run out way back when. I was also going for ruins, which I got 1 good on countless times back then, after I actually got heavy I didn't play the song for a really long time, I only wound up AAA'ing it 2 days ago rofl. Ami Furi Koneko I don't recommend at all, it's probably one of the hardest to do, at least in my opinion, I also don't remember all the songs that can get heavy, but that song definitely isn't easy to do. Seven is probably the easiest if you can do jumpstream good, I had the hardest time AAA'ing this, I probably played it over 300 times before I got it... As for oni though... Novo Mundo, I don't really recommend this, unless your good at the rolls, I don't even think I SDG'd this to be honest, I'm horrible at rolls for some reason, I could probably AAA it on a lucky run though, and memorize where the rolls are. Lawn Wake 4, I've never played lw4 spread, it's a really index friendly file, aside for the quick 8 step roll in the beginning which you can just switch to spread for, I recommened this if you're index. Lawn Wake 1, I only played this maybe 2 or 3 times, but from what I remember of it, it's not to hard to AAA, but also probably not one of the easiest of these. None Would Escape, this isn't very hard, I definitely recommend this for spread players, might take a bit of work to do, but it's fairly easy. Divine Suicide of K, well, I got a SDG sightread on this one, I don't find it hard at all to PA, aside from me having 2 mental blocks within the first 100 steps already, I however don't recommened this being it's a 5:10 song... Melonman’s OP, this file's a b!tch, I don't suggest even trying this...K8107, only try this if your good at jump stream, I haven't gotten it yet, I think I got 1 on a lucky run a while ago, I don't think I can get it yet. Southern Cross, pretty easy, then again it's a pretty long song, I flagged it not to long ago, the jump stream is really straight foward and easy, it's worth a shot I guess. Choprite, don't really try this for oni, the song's pretty long, and has a bunch of parts to screw up on, although I feel it's pretty easy, I always slip in some spots. Midnight Dragon, if you can get a run down ever AAA'ing the 24th run thing, than I think I can safely say you can probably AAA this, although it's still pretty hard. Silence, really easy if you're good at jumpstream, I'm stuck with 1 or 2 on this, I could get it for sure, it's just annoying to play and get 1 good randomly after nailing the harder parts. Rottel-da-Station, this song is really easy aside from the beginning, which is really hard to even combo...Epidermis, pretty easy, I don't have any problems with running men or any of that, but it's still pretty hard to do I guess. AIM Anthem, I did this recently, not hard at all, I don't suggest it if you play spread, but index is rather easy to do this, as long as you can do the alternating jump section. And lastly Hajnal, I would never even try this for oni, then again, I can't do rolls, I find this file hard to get under 20, I don't know why I can't do rolls in FFR. Re: In your opinion: Easiest AAA to get [Heavy] and [Oni]
I AAA'd Seven the day Otaku Heavy came out. Dunno about Oni though probably if you like speed you should do the Lawn Wakes otherwise maybe None Would Escape or Silence if you like slow one colored jumpstream

Re: In your opinion: Easiest AAA to get [Heavy] and [Oni]
Both Midday and I AAAd Seven to get Heavy, but Video Out A and Amefuri Koneko were sightread AAAs for us too.
My first FMO AAA was Silence. Midday's was Lawn Wake IV (before avmiss fix, lucky, damn.), but he'd probably say Silence or Southern Cross would be the easiest AAA. Miku would say Hajnal, but I think rolls and the super sync trill are annoying (I can't do Novo Mundo because of rolls either, frikin 23 goods today.).
