I wouldn't have a problem with that anymore since I basically only play SM now = SM files hehe

Though either way I'd probably only get 2 done per batch since these days I spend a lot more time per file.

Rejudging is fine for the quality, the problems are being unfair, and after avmiss fix/unbanning hands basically those files have "old style".

As for future batch a rule like this is needed, "A batch won't be re-opened until the number of files in the queue gets under 20".

I think we need another queue clearing event in June/July.

At this pace, it will take more than 6 months from now to restart the batch.

End of the World Release! Let's get all of these files out before the world blows from the Large Hadron Collider!!!

Something like that?

Since the majority of the userbase on here still goes to school, maybe do a "school's out" even in mid June?

hey Tass, I submitted a stepfile too once, and now that I think of it, some kind of bug might have made me send you an empty file. was this the case or did you just reject it?

You can take that off the list, Jimerax/Tass/whoever updates it next. I asked Tass to pull it from the queue back in February, since I'm sending in a fixed up/much better file once the batch opens up again.

baer: you likely sent it after the batch closed. which means it's sitting in my inbox unread. at some point i'll respond to all those emails saying that the batch is closed and to re-submit when it opens.

If there is going to be a rejudging of the current queue (which I find to be a good idea), would we be allowed to send improved files for songs already in the queue? I have a few songs that I improved the files of... (I would much rather see the improved files in FFR instead of the ones in the queue)... And I don't want to wait until July to send in those improvements on files that were queued so long ago.

If we are going to have to wait until July to send in improvements, then there are a few songs I stepped I'd wish to have taken out of the queue...
I improved Otter's Dance (almost completely re-did it), Psychopathy 101 (added steps at the beginning and end), and I will improve Delta Beat and Ska Cha Cha (because I really don't like the state that they're in now, especially, well, both of them). For those files, I would not want them in FFR the way they were when they were accepted.
I wouldn't mind Lover Reef going in to the game as it is, but I might find a few things to change...
EDIT: Realized that I needed to add some silence at the beginning of the .mp3 so the first note would be after the two-second mark... If I don't send in an improvement, would it be possible that you (someone over there) could add in that silence so the first step will fit in? ... Hm, also realized I missed a sixteenth right before the 61st measure... And I don't want to wait another month just to fix a single sixteenth note...

P.S.
Don't forget that Rocking Ass and Raindrops V2 have been released as tokens (and should be removed from the opening post).

ok, then I'm gonna wait for a batch re-opening. maybe I'm gonna make another stepfile, or I might edit the one I sent you.
btw I sent you 4 mails, because I made a few mistakes. the 4th one is the one you should check!

in the future, please don't do that. i get a ton of emails... it kinda pisses me off to get a whole bunch of emails all about 1 simfile. it also tells me that you don't check your work and rush to submit stuff. fix everything before sending it to me. have people test it and tell you what they think you should fix, etc.

Basically the reason why I didn't send anything before the submissions closed. Who are some good people I can get these checked by? Some people tended to take over my stepfile. I didn't like that.
