Do it. It's the best novel I've ever read. Everyone on the Amazon book review thing needs to go choke.

Fine. Read High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. It was made into a great movie but the book was way better. Pretty easy and very enjoyable read.

![]() I mean, it kind of seemed like you sorted the "House of Leaves" reviews so that all the negatives would come up first. Because it has far more 5* than 1* ratings.

![]() If you like sci-fi, I would highly suggest you read "Ender's Game."
I don't remember how many pages it has, but it's definitely more than 300. |

![]() I actually only linked to the reviews that had one star because bluguerrilla said that "everyone" recommends House of Leaves.

![]() There's something very wrong in recommending Lolita to Shasta.

I took a class on it, I know what it's about, lol. But for the same reason Nabokov is lampooning the reader, I must show caution when suggesting that book.

Number one reason why you should read (and enjoy) Lolita or Crime and Punishment: http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.co...ave-in-common/ This is the greatest thing to happen to me ever. My two favorite fiction books (and one of my favorite nonfiction books) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) I have good taste. (Atlas Shrugged is supposedly pretty cool too, but I've never even touched it.)
