Look at me I'm another whiny bitch that likes to state my opinion even though nobody reads it. Has anyone even taken doubles into consideration here? Max300 is PISS EASY on doubles. MaxXUnlimited is noticeably harder than Max300, and LOM is actually fairly easy, except for the weird triplets at the end, but that's just at the end. And for those who brought PSMO into this, PSMO is by far the hardest double HANDS DOWN. For those who don't believe me, try it.

Oh, I know it's hard. I've played it countless times. If you have ever played Max.(Period) on the Japanese home version of DDR Extreme, you will know it's harder. Beginner is a 3 footer; Light and Standard are both 9 feet, Heavy and Oni are flashing 10's. If you don't believe me, play Max.(Period) on Heavy, it's harder than PSM Oni single. Double PSM Oni is the hardest, I'll agree with you on that; though in single, Max.(Period) Oni is harder, even if it's just by a little bit. Mainly because it builds up to 600 BPM, and those messures in 600, are just quarter notes, which is similar to the 8th note runs on Max 300. Only these go for more than 16 counts.

Heh, what do you know... I stand corrected. I got the two mixed up since I brought PSM into the scene. I was still thinking about PSM Oni being harder than LOM Heavy.

Did Konami put Max.(Period) on the Legend Road/Desetsudou Oni course on the Japanese release? I haven't played anything other than Versus since I haven't bought it, and I only play at my neighbor's house, who cannot do Oni, cannot AA a song, or anything past 8 feet at all.

Those crazy jumps are easy if u force urself I coud pass maxX way before I coud max300 and the end of maxX is still wickid easy it pretty much goes with the beat a few 1/8th notes mixed in with jumps its easy.
however max300 is way easier to fc or AAA

My opinion Legend of Max is harder than both

Legend only seems harder because it's faster. But everyone and they're brother has AAA'd LoM. And by that, I mean Yasu and Take do it consistently, and many others have done it. MaxX however, very few people have AAA'd it, and only a select few have video proof. It just seems harder. Seeing as how Yasu almost always misses at least one step on the song in every video, that makes it damn hard if he can't full combo it consistently. But everyone is entitled to they're opinion; I just know after AAA'ing the first two Max songs, Legend was a breeze.

MaxX Unlimited > Max 300

LoM is somewhere inbetween.

Maxx Unlimited is of course harder, its 20 BPM faster than Max 300, it has 600 total arrows, and does have complex streams. Not including all those jumps. And Maxx Unlimited sounds cooler.

R u fuckin kidding me Legend's way harder I coud pass maxX months before i coud Legend of max its not only its speed its cuz it does 3 notes and 2 jumps in a row. There may be less steps but the steps r way harder

another way to tell MaxX -10
Legend-Blinking 10 some1 once told me it was a 12 cuz it follows the pattern from beginner all the way I believe it cuz PSM regular is easier as long as u can cross over

Here's my opinion on this, although I'm sure a lot of you will disagree on the details.
I personally think MaxX is much more stamina draining. I have to move my legs faster for the tricky parts, thus leaving me with little stamina for the 8th notes at the end. I have a lot of stamina left when I finish Max300. On paper, LoM looks easier than MaxX... but all the 8ths into the jumps just make me lose a lot of energy. The part with three eigth notes in a row repeatedly for a long time, each starting with the same foot wears me down a lot, and then I've got hardly anything left for the streams at the end. Once I get past the streams, though, the part at the end is easy.
So here's the summary for my opinion:
LoM>MaxX>Max300
My grades:
Max300:A, working on AA
MaxX Unlimited:A'ed it once, usually B
The Legend of Max:always B
I think PS is between Max300 and MaxX, and PSM and PSMO are harder than all the Maxes (excluding period, haven't gotten a chance to play it yet), my grades for them are PS:A, PSM:C (I know I said I had a B before somewhere but I couldn't remember and now I'm pretty sure I had a C) and I haven't passed PSMO. I'm not good enough to do any Max doubles yet.

The thing they r wondering here is which is harder 2 pass not which 1 has harder steps. Sure the airs on maxx unlimited r hard and thats the reson y not many ppl AAA it. Max 300 may have EZer steps but your feet r moving very very fast very very often, in which will tire u out a lot faster. I have beatin maxx unlimited on heavy many times, but max 300 is making me fall 2 the ground and gasping 4 air all the time. There is a way u could force yourself 2 do those tricky airs in maxx unlimited, but if u dont have the energy 2 get 2 the end of max 300 theres nothing u can do about it (unless if u take a pill, i think its called orange shock- u cant stay still without twitching)
