Default Can't AAA Excite Bike

I tried so many times. I've done it before at the library without sound, but with sound on the song confuses me and I get goods instead of perfects. I play Stepmania and just starting playing FFR yesterday; FFR is different from Stepmania.

Can anyone tell me the differences between the two? I'd like to know so I can see what I'm doing wrong.. I seem to have no problem with other songs in FFR above Very Challenging, but Excite Bike is just an usual stepfile for me.

I had that problem too, but I finally did it! What I did to AAA it was set it to 1 good/average/boo etc. and tried it until I got an AAA.

Just use a good comp.
(512MB+ RAM, Pentium 4+ Processor, Nvidia GeForce 4 Card or greater, Latest Flash Version, 512k internet or better)

Do it kinda like this -> http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...eplay/4713872/

Best advice I can give, seriously, other than this: PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!

EDIT: Oh, don't play in the library if the computers there are anything less of what I described above. And if the sound confuses you, what the heck are you doing playing rhythm games?

I have a better question - why did you format every other word in your post?

I'd advise playing it with sound on... Reason being that even though it's not perfect sync, the sound will give you an indication of where to hit the arrows... But as for the playing VC songs well but not AAAing excite... I was able to play challenging songs well before I was able to AAA anything. I had around 100 FCs by the time I had 1 AAA.

I don't even try to AAA anything, the link I posted was a fluke, done about a month ago. Why does it bother some people that they can't AAA very well?

It matters to some people because you're judged mainly on how well you can do on most songs... For instance: In tourneys, you'll be judged to be good if you have many AAAs because you can do well on a large amount of songs, which makes you better than somebody who is good at some songs but bad at others.

It's annoying to read random bolded words in your post but I'll still help you. Excite Bike is the worst stepfile ever made for FFR, and it doesn't fit the music nor is it a logical stepfile to have (because of its length). Its short length makes it easy to AAA it, though - don't use Auto Fail, instead, just play the song over and over again without the sound on (because the music's annoying as hell and the steps don't fit it). Eventually, you'll start to cut of a few Goods from your score. You'll eventually have it - it shouldn't take long, the song is only 9 seconds long. If you're spending more than fifteen minutes doing it, you're not good enough and need to go play other songs more until you can do it.

He bolded and italicized mostly every word that would generally have been so I dont see anything wrong with it ^_^

But yeah, what's with that? Do you have OCD? (Off topic..)

Getting AAA's at first is really annoying. Once you build PA though you will notice a difference on all songs you play.

Well maybe you should stop bolding every other word in your sentence.

I think Excite Bike is too hard for this game.

Hm.. for me FFr it's easier to see your combo and you can easily tell if you missed, Stepmanis it's harder to see that. Idk.

You are right rabbit, all of the guys I talk to say that they suck at Excite Bike sometimes. Aslo, you don't have to be bolding a few words in all of the sentences. I'm not good at Excite Bike sometimes. I find it annoying sometimes.
