Lol jokim get some silicone in there, it'll work like a charm.
So does anyone here have a simplified F2L method that doesn't involve me learning 40 or so algs? |

Could someone explain me what all those terms are ?
F2L and all those things o_O I'm totally lost XD do you consider filling the bottom face and 1st layers as algs ? lol (I'd say there are many methods >.> lol) If not, i use only 4 algs to finish the cube at that point >.> (lots of repetitions - i should go learn more, especially for the 3rd layer and top face XD) |

F2L - First 2 Layers, just after the cross, there are algs to get the corners of the first layer and the 2nd layer all together.
OLL - Orient last layer, it makes all of the last sides' colors facing up - cross and corners. PLL - Permutate last layer, its just aligning the Middles and the Corners of the last layer. |

Oh, Thanks.
If i wasn't lazy i'd surely go learn a few more algs to finish last layer and top face faster XD |

Yeah, I need to try a silicone also. My Curel hand lotion has been working pretty great, but I should probably try to use something official.

It has worked fine for me but you should try to learn as many as you can EDIT: Sorry I haven't updated in a while i got 3/4 through it last week and my internet just randomly failed and closed and i didn't finish it. BUT when I'm not really tired I'll go trough and update tomorrow. For now I must say very nice times from everyone, and sorry to whoever posted a lucky solve but I cannot except that score for if I did, my best would be considerably faster.

what does "Lucky solve" means ? o_O
i know what lucky means and i know what solving is, Just want... precisions/examples ? I decided to learn lars petrus method (sorry if i spelled it wrong) sure gonna save me lot of time if I "master" it (and get a better cube by then) cause there is really some kind of "trick" ?? you DO have to memorize the whole thing and think ahead of like.... 40 moves, no ? (insane XD) That sure is neat tho. Congrats. |

A lucky solve is usually on a system-by-system basis. A lucky case for one method of solving is irrelevant to another's. Basically, if you skip multiple steps in your approach, it's a "lucky" solve. For instance, if you use the Fridrich method, skipping an F2L slot + PLL would be very lucky.

1 hour, 45 minutes and 43 seconds for the 4x4. In other words, I suck with these things

The method of solving is much different for blindfold cubing and it isn't nearly as hard as it sounds. It is still difficult but of course easier with practice.

DP to say UPDATED!!!
A few questions and remarks. Lol Cenright way to be sneaky and edit my post yourself Rubix, when you do blindfolded relays do you memorize all of the cubes at once then solve each one sequentially, or do you memorize solve memorize solve etc? Keep the times coming everybody ![]()

I solved one with one hand a few weeks ago...it was like 2'58. I'm sure someone here can do better.
And bender could you post your simplified F2L method? I'm trying to make my own off of a more complicated one (42 steps, I'm trying to limit it to 8 or so), but it is much more time consuming. |

i would say yes i'll post it BUTT it's not anything special. All I know are 2-3 from the F situations and 2-3 from the U situations. As well as a R maybe 2. I never took my time to learn the rest. Sure it will take you a long time but i strongly suggest just take your time and learn the entire F2L because it can help you a lot in the future
and jokim i suggest learning the fridrich method because A I find it to be more simple and to make more sense and B I just like it better
