my point is still quite valid. not to mention, my ultimate decision was not only based on the fact that 1. i had no idea it was from a vg myself and believed it sounded like rock. 2. searched google to see if i could find ANY reference to those 2 specific songs being credited as being from a vg.... BUT... was also based on... 3. asking rebirth (who made the files, who i therefore assumed knew what he was talking about) whether they were from vg's or not. don't recall his answer, but from our conversation, we decided to put them in rock.

AND... iirc, you're the 1st person to bring up any kind of bitching that they're in rock and not in arcade, when they've been released for quite some time now.

not to mention, you didn't quite "wreck" my argument. just because it has a wiki page and a following doesn't make it all important or something that is mainstream or even remotely knowledgeable beyond the select few americans or japanese who are familiar with it. i'm sure i could find a dedicated community for rattlesnake piss sniffers, yet i wouldn't consider it something most people would know about; might even have its own wiki page too. not like wiki is the end all be all of what is important and what isn't.

i'm still more than accurate in saying that 99+% of people have no clue what it is. i still have no idea what it is, nor do i really care. it's staying in rock for the reasons mentioned.... and damn. i feel like you just like arguing with me for the hell of it. every small little asinine thing, you've gotta turn it into a big event. every file released, you've gotta point out that you don't like it and some snide comment (well, 90%), yet most of the time you lack putting in that all important WHY you don't like it. PLUS... you still have only submitted about 2 files for us, despite all the bitching.

I'm not bitching at all. I'm actually not the first person who has said, "FFR's idea of rock isn't really rock at all," and posted about it. (That quote was referring to dBu's music, of course.)

If there's a song called "Rattlesnake Piss Sniffers", and it's a Rock song, then I suppose it should belong in rock, based on the genre pattern FFR tries to follow? But if it's a song from a game, then it'd go to arcade then- Wouldn't it?

Besides, We're talking about a video game series "following." Your example was erroneous and useless to your entire "argument."

If people keep thinking they're doing something right, they'll eventually dig themselves into a hole much like pfx did. It's the simfile author's choice on whether or not they should listen to my opinion. Besides, I either point out what I think is wrong with the file, or my blunt opinion. I think I'm doing something right, since Silver Brian's work as of late has been improving greatly, and others have even come to me for QC.

Okay, so what have I been doing this entire time? Your file sucks dingdongs because there's a random jump that doesn't belong in the entire song, and not only that, your cut ****ing sucks lmao. There's my Why there. How do you like them apples? How hard is it to screw up a file that only has 130~ notes? I didn't think it could be done, honestly- At least with common sense.

I did you a favor and played your Yager file. It was a lot better than I remember your files being, but still pretty offsync (granted, I played in resonance) and the patterns didn't flow at all.


EDIT- Song was really amazing and I hope someone who is skilled makes good steps for it. The song has a lot of potential which your file didn't really bring out.

Won't accept Small Clone eh? The same thing happened to me. I made a good file, definitely queue-worthy, and Shash comes in and makes up some BS reason why the file sucked. And for that one measly reason he even makes it a (-) instead of (+?).

Small Cone will probably be better than 98% of everything on FFR anyway.

After all that, the file doesn't even get a retest. Bull****. The file was better than most of the stuff on FFR.

Everyone should listen to DS more. Not saying he's always right, but after reading a lot of what he writes, he tends to make a lot more sense than everyone else.

P.S. Stop with those crazy skill token requirements please. Not everyone on FFR can full combo 16th streams or pass a guru's only.

FYI: Thats why its called a skill token. So that not everyone can get it, you have to work for it and get so called "Skill".
And also I do agree with some points Digital makes. While on the other hand we are not part of the site.
Tass is, there-for we have no say in the decisions made or how they are made. So stop whining, please.
