This is Touhou.



How are the songs used? In the game you mean? As title screen music, stage music, character themes, etc- All of it is original work by Team Shanghai Alice aka ZUN, created intentionally for the game. There were also OSTs for the game released and sold. dBu Remixed the music with his own rock style, even though most of the music from the OSTs are inheritantly some kind of j-rock with piano and violin-trumpet-like synths. If you were to google Touhou, you'd see so many fanworks and wallpapers rofl.

Kil's Chinese Tea sim is Touhou. Zaghurim's Plastic Mind is touhou. The Mooned Insects, is Touhou. Higan Retour, Love Colored Master Spark, Eternal Nocturne, UNknown Princess, Synaxis Symphony, Kagome Kagome, Dream Duel- All of that music is from the Touhou series. You don't need to be an SM guru to know what some of those songs are, or a Touhou guru for that matter. (I don't even play the game honestly)



Anyways, I can't wait to see the queue update.

Okay, thanks for the info, it helps since I don't think any of us were aware of that game existing at all.

Some stuff still might go into Rock though, we'll see.

Also, I asked how they were used because songs from other music games, or songs used as they're used in music games (like for a minigame) don't belong in Arcade. For example, The Trooper is a Guitar Hero song, but we'd obviously put it in Rock instead of Arcade if we had to choose (obviously we wouldn't get permission, it's just hypothetical).

State of Emergency is the ONLY SiU song that isnt allowed in FFR. Everything else is fine. I have seem Tass say this himself before (more then once) so dont think im just guessing here.

Yeah, I was actually going to put that link up but I thought advertising other forums or communities was against the rules.
(That link has most if not all the touhou games that are out.)

Kil, Kefit, Me hehe, Kaorin, etc are probably the best players in the US that I know of. I know benny's really into it too but that's it =P

And as far as touhou simfiles go- as genre I was gonna put Touhou Remix anyways XD

I don't really post my scores though lmao. (I was being full of bs when I said I didn't really play the games :P)

Relevant to the thread, I made a file for the Dream Duel and sent it to Rebirth to test. After I retest everything again to make sure, I'm sending in ~8 files.
