Well my latest save on FFVII is probably around the 190 hour range, clock stopped at 99 of course. I already beat the weapons and have at least one of all master materia and have leveled every other materia, everyone at max levels, Cloud has all stats at 255 except luck, and im working on getting everyone else to the same point in that f@$#* sunken ship! yum potions...

Otherwise, half-life 1 took me about 40 hours to beat, and I've been playing counter-strike source a good 300-odd hours. boom. headshot.

just one run thru: longest record was 12 hours and 5 minutes on final fantasy 5...
100% completion: undefined (9999 planet days, 999:99:99 time) on pikmin2 (max money/pikmin count [omfg yes there is a max count])

LoZ: TP, short game but so damn boring so I've had my save file sitting at 15-25 hours of gameplay at the water temple for who knows long now...

but in all seriousness, longest time on a game was uh..FF9 maybe? Like took me 60 hours to level to nearly 99 and get every single secret in the game and everything mastered pretty much =\

FF7 I played my first run in just under 60 hours after I bought it when it came out and that was who knows how long ago..and I didnt do secrets/sidequests. Now I can run through FF7 with all secrets and hit 99 and master everything in around 55-60 hours fairly easily which is not too bad.

PHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE FOR THE XBOX 360 GRR THAT GAME IS LONG AND HARD, but good game and storyline netherless..

also, Gears of War took me around 6-7 hours. Starfox 64 was probably my shortest though, did it really fast, like 1 hour or something.

Longest game ever hand's down has to be Morrowind. I guess Oblivion could be longer, but that game bores me in comparison to Morrowind. Too complex and repetetive I guess.

As for longest dungeon ever, I'd have to say the 99 floor Ancient Cave on SNES's Lufia 2 since it automatically starts your character lvls at 1, floor 1, and no items but a few potions and no save points. Hardcore as hell, but I've done it once. Takes about 7-8 hours of nonstop gameplay to get to about floor 85, then you just sorta say "EFF THAT!" and run past all enemies cuz bronze, silver and gold dragons all have the ability to wipe out your entire party in 1 hit, much less silver dragons get 2 attacks and gold get 3 attacks. Then again the 99 floor Tera domain on Digimon World 2 for ps1 is probably longer because of the insanely long attack animations for every Digimon.

The game that took me the longest to beat? Hmm... tough choice as I have played many games with almost every system, minus DreamCast and the newer systems PS3 and Xbox 360... but we won't go there yet. I would have to say the honor of the longest game to beat in my eyes belongs to Phantasy Star 2 for the old Sega system. Now don't get me wrong, now its nothing to me. But when I first started playing the game I was confuzzled on almost every turn. Also, what got me was, the futile attempt at trying to use a 3-d version of the dungeons (Bio-Plant, Skure etc etc) made it much more difficult. Rather pathetic now that I see it. All in all, it took me about 3-4 months just to beat it. Now I can play it and have it beaten in about 3 days tops.

I finally beat Bionic Commando a couple of weeks ago after giving up on it at about age 10. I got to make Hitler's head explode with a rocket launcher.

Tales of Symphonia. The 1st time beating it took me like 120 hours. The 2nd time was 41 hours, lol.

Longest game for me was Super Mario 64. I could beat it easily now but it took me a year to be beat it 10 years ago.

I just realized that I never beat Banjo Kazooie. EVER. I started that game when it first came out in like 97 and I still haven't beaten it yet 10 years later. -_-

KotOR, both of them. Took about a hundered hours each, but totally worth it. Best freaking games ever.

Edit: Considering this, KotORII probably took about 150 hours. That was valuable playing time I lost.

It took me forever to max SO3:TTEOT
The time counter is at around 165 hours, but about 40 of those are from taping the x button down on a turbo controller and leaving it overnight.... for a few nights...

FFX took awhile too, with all those sidequests and stuff. Beatting the story wasn't that long though.... Can't remember exactly how long. Time counter there is about 105 hours.

Then there's GS2, which I decided randomly one day to max. It took me forever to get everybody to 99 without a gameshark or action replay.

Erm.... Yea, those are pretty much the ones I can remember.

Oh yea, there's also Oblivion, which still isn't done. I think I have around 150 hours on that one. I'm getting pretty close though- 1000G's ftw.

Oh, and DDR probably has 500+ hours or so, Guitar Hero probably at around 100.

Legend of Dragoon... Um... Thread of Faith probably has 200 hours on it, since I beat it about 10 times.

Metal Gear One for the NES took me 10 years to beat.

Been playing Dino Crisis off and on for about two years...havent beat it
