*Sighs* That's like saying why United States is so-called 'the greatest country' yet we still have people who are poor, uneducated, and etc. In my case you is right, black people are not the only ones in poverty. There are hispanics (spell check please),whites, asians, and other groups. The reason why 'black people' are getting the help we need ((yes I'm black)) is because of our disperation (spell check please) and frequent begging that only get us programs or systems that help us out. To me I only see people as people, if you put away the culture, hertiage, race, and other nationalities. You only have earth people that live together and try to help each other out.
Also I'm not going to stop there. Let's look back on how White People treated the black people back in slavery before the Civil Rights Movement, that's when we didn't have no education nor the ability to read unless we tried to risk ourselves getting killed by the Master. Since then, black only have a poverty mindset because of the way we were treated. Then that's when Abraham Lincoln saw the destruction and depression that black people were going through and decided to end it. Only for him to be shot because of the movement he was trying to begin. In short, black people were always in poverty because of slavery. We didn't choose to be idiots but then again when we try to be smart and enter into the real world, people with superiority tries to kill and crush them. I alone is the next victim but yet I won't give up too easily. If you really start to think about it, tell the president to cut off all the section 8 and Food Stamp programs so the poverty can start waking up from the long 'nap' and start trying to live better or end up homeless. |
