My point is perfectly valid. If you need some clarification: I think you should have self control because every human has the right to keep his/her dignity and not be abused by others. As I've said, a girl that has sex with many people (in vulgar terms, a slut) has no self-respect and is worth nothing more than a vagina. If a person starts having sex at a young age, they're not fully realising what they're doing. They're still staying sort of naive towards it. In this way they can be easily abused and taken advantage of. I still beleive you shouldn't have sex until a certain age (not a law, but just something you set yourself). This way you can make sure you're mature enough to do it as much as you want without looking like a slut (because at this point it's also about image).

There is a difference between need and desire. You need to eat. You don't need to have sex. It's not going to kill you.

The reason pre-marital sex is considered taboo is because sex is the consummation of love between two human beings. Yes, you can have physical feelings with someone but sex defines it. The act of joining a man and woman together has such a deep feeling of trust and comittment that it makes the sex better. To be honest, when I'm having sex with my girlfriend, we don't have sex, we make love because the act is so psychologically empowering that it can't even begin to be descibed. Honestly, if you've never made love instead of have sex, then I seriously doubt you know what sex is all about. When you have sex with someone you truly care for, it becomes so much more.

Of course it's not that same thing as making love, but I'm not talking about that. Recreational sex is still very much pleasurable, even if you don't love someone, and very good for you. I believe in todays life of over-stimulation, sex does not have to be used only in the way you are talking about.
