i think the idea is great, the motion sensitive touch pads on the i-pod are perfict for a game like spin it up, that way u can hear ffr songs and play a beat-based game all in one
![]() this would make people want to put more songs into spin it up hereby raising its popularity, it cant loose i dunno how hard it would be to do this and im hyped up on mountain dew again so im really just rambling, but its Uber idea (5points for meh) |

That would be awesome! The bad thing is that I don't have an Ipod

that'd be great. It's been suggested in the SIU forum, but no one ever goes there =\

exactly why i moved directly to here
and if u dont have an i pod this is a great reason to get one (mabey we could have an ffr i-pod...) it would be decorated with FFR skins and come loaded with every song from ffr on it, just another thought that will never leave the ground... |

Interesting idea, but a little farfetched. The I-pod screens are a little small for that many curves being pumped out at you. Plus with a mouse you don't have to go in an actual circle, you can skip parts. The I-pod would be annoying seeing as though you'd have to go in a full circle. I like the idea, but the data you'd have to have stored on the I-pod would be a lot and again the circle. T-up on idea but a little hard to do.

Will not work because...
- This will take a lot of programming that no one who knows how to wants to do. - You would probably have to modify your iPod in some way thus vioding any warranty you have. - This would be offline which deafeats the purpose of having an online community. - FFR iPods = Major copyright issues. - FFR song loaded iPods = Major copyright issues. - Unless you have a iPod Video don't you think that the frame rate would be more than a little choppy? I have just ruined your day. |

^ Agree with Spinal 100%. I didn't think of copyright or only video I-pods working. But yes, He's right with those two points IMO.

Even an iPod Video would not even come close to being able to handle a SIU sim. iPods can barely handle that little block breaker game.

Also, I think I was the one who originally came up with the idea, don't really care much about that though. As long as the fight to have it implemented eventually continues! |

No it couldnt, there's no way iPod can handle Flash. My old ass laptop can play (.wmv etc) better than iPods but cant handle the simplest Flash .gif. Also, iPods dont have a grafics system besides the little one they put on there for the menues.

it has been discussed at length. The downside is, resources being what they are .. we don't have them to pursue writing ipod native apps currently.
We would LOVE to do it for the iPod, and may one day, but the main hold up isn't copyrights .. the main one is getting the work done .. |

Yeah. It would be very hard to do... I'd think anyways.
