This movie was a total sausagefest but I enjoyed it anyway. Saw it yesterday.

I recommended this movie for ANYONE! Nudity, extreme violence, and amazing battle scenes. Not 1 part of the movie I disliked. 5/5. |

The only issue I'd have with getting to see the movie is the nudity. Nudity in movies=no with parents.
Will it be less climatic if I just see it on DVD? |

OMG, i saw it the day it came out, it was the best movie ever. the fact that it was based on the real battle was awesome.
*spoiler?* ~~~~~~~~~ at the end, u kno where the spartans had 10Kmen ready to fight the persians? well i guess the spartans kicked the persians asses and after that final battle, the persians never tryed to conquer Greece again. ~~~~~~~~~ 300 rules the world |

Well I saw it in IMAX and it was breathtaking. I personally don't think a DVD could compare to seeing it on the big screen.

The first battle scene where everything was in slow motion.. that was like the coolest thing EVAR!
And also the part where they find all the dead villagers in the tree.. amazing! |

I thought the Spartans final stand against the Persians was the most powerful moment in the movie.

So I'll be missing a bunch of climatic hype if I see it on DVD instead of the theaters?

I just saw it, I give it a 7/10, it was basically 2 hours of well thought out fight scenes. But there wasn't enough character development...
SPOILER!!!!! When the captain's son got his head chopped off, I didn't even feel bad for him or his father, if they had developed those characters more it would have been a more powerful scene. END SPOILER!!! Still a great movie though, would recommnend anyone to go see it in theatres. |

Saw it today and it was pretty good...I suggest you see it while you can at the big screen.
When it comes to the cheap seats I am going to watch it again. XD

I liked how it was so... pretty.
That sounds kind of stupid considering it was a bloody action-packed war movie, but considering its comic origins I think they did a bang-up job. Every shot in that movie would have made a nice piece of art in itself. I wanted to see it in IMAX, and thought I'd be able to since there is one right by my college, but sadly it wasn't in there yet. :/ Maybe it'll come someday and I'll go see it again.
