A Meaningful Song?

A small assignment for English requires me to search for lyrics to a song that has a powerful message. Since I don't exactly listen to music like that, I need your help FFR. Help find a meaningful song for me. A link to the lyrics be nice as well.

Though remember, this is a school project, nothing inappropriate please and I'd prefer to stay away from Hip Hop.

Just looked it up, don't understand it and unsure what the chorus is.

Meaning = Keep living?

The chorus doesn't say anything, but the verses do. How can you become numb and not realise the presence of your teacher/parent/controlling person/whatever if they're really trying to make you do something they don't want you to do?

Actually, it's the only song I've hear from Linkin park that seems to have a meaning to it.
