Re: WOW
I'm not a big fan of Penny Arcade, their comics just don't do it for me.
With that said I read their blog from time to time because they talk some good talk. Another fine exaple of some good talk A+ would read again, recommended. Also saved on my HD for easy access so I can throw it in some assholish conservitives face when need be. |

Re: WOW
just because a person thinks violence is a byproduct of video games doesn't make him/her conservative...
but anyways, yeah that kid is ****ing insane. it's hard to believe what a failure he is at life. pretty sad :/

Re: WOW
Ah yes...Ya see, I went to middle school with Nathan Moore...(The kid who did the killing)
Very ****ed up kid indeed. I avoided him at all costs because he was just...well, look at what he ended up doing. I only spoke to him a few times in 6th grade. After that, I saw what he was like and I knew he would end up in a situation like this. Back then, I didn't think he would kill someone, but as I think about it now...It doesn't surprise me. God I hated that ****ing moron... |

Way to go CNN. No really, great going.
EDIT: And the kid. Great job too. You are almost as screwed up as CNN. ~Tsugomaru |

Re: WOW
You must come from a ****ed up neighborhood if that's common with the teenagers you know.

Re: WOW
Don't make me get the statistics on this. It's not uncommon for a teenager to have tried drugs, and just about every teen I know has a facination with fire. Stealing is probably much less common (car theft? probably not), but as far as I can see, it must be far more common than "beating up handicapped kids at school."

Re: WOW
The way you phrased it, you made it seem like almost all teens go around setting fires to things and stealing cars. There's a difference between lighting some twigs on fire, or the powder from firecrackers in your backyard to setting large things on fire.
He was also "getting picked up for drugs," which usually doesn't happen unless you're carrying large amounts. Most of the time dealing. Most teens I know have smoked pot a couple of times, whereas the direction this kid was going I bet he was doing a lot more than that.

Re: WOW
JKPolk is dead on. I like my medicine when I'm sick or have a headache and I like to light fires to keep warm on campouts. I must be nuts too. It's the intent of using these tools that matter.

Re: WOW
I hate to say this...
But how do we or him know that this is genuine?
