I think that if this is done it shouldn't just be a way to get more credits when u play a song - ex. 30 credits for a song that you aaa'd would end up being 60. I think it should be done as a whole separate thing. A list of goals to reach, just makes the game that much more interesting. Almost like having a 1st player adventure mode that other DDR type games have.
Now that I think about this, it's not really about the credits but more as something else to do rather than just trying to increase rank. Gives you goals to reach and rewards once u reach those goals. |

Ya definitly except I think that the credit bonus shouldn't be too big for aaaing a genre or anything like that. Any super huge credit bonuses can really lower the value of credits because if someone gets 250000 credits in most cases they'll share with their friends. I think if we have reasonable credit value for each thing and only huge credit value for the things that will most likely never happen: ie - aaaing secret or dance. Then that would work.
Synth or any other admin could we have your oppinion on this? since we're not the ones who have to impliment this thing it would be nice to hear what you have to say.

do we get credit bonuses for mods?
it would be nice to get like maybe an extra credit or two for having something like invisible arrows or something like that the harder mods would yield more creds of course. it wouldnt have to be anything big just a credit or two |

That an ok idea but not really what we're talking about here. We're talking about a list that u could complete and get credits for each accomplishment. If you want to ask about added credits for mods then post that in a new thread. Even though you could easily put it in tornado mode and get tons of credits cuz tornado mode is easy.
by the way PunkNJunk, try not to post pointless messages on threads that have nothing to do with you, it just makes old threads get bumped and adds to the length of the thread which I'm sure most people don't want to have to read.

going with the mods thing. you can add to the list for doing stuff with mods.
like. AAA an easy song with dark mod on. FC a master only song with tornado mod on. SDG a difficult song with hidden and dark mod on. stuff like that.

Then it just starts to get complicated. Not talking about a thing you can get regularaly or a huge list of things u can do so that u can get more credits, just a small list of difficult things where you get rewards if you can accomplish it.
I'll say it for a last time, I like the mods idea but post about it somewhere else, the mods should stay separate if they are done because then it can end up making our list 5 times as long. AAAing a Genre - normal - tornado - dark etc... It just makes the list too long

Nothing with weird mods, IMO. They're really just for experimenting...shouldn't be something the game actually makes you use or learn just to get a credit bonus.

one possible setback for this system is for example if you got, say 1k credits for AAAing X songs or the entire genre of rock or something i imagine it could be abused quite easily. People could create multiple accounts and just re-AAA those songs which once your really good should only take a few attempts and theres another 1k credits. Granted that the people that can AAA that ammount of songs probably wont need credits but yeah. It would be faster to AAA say 10 songs for 1k + normal credits than to whore out to a harder song for 50-60 times for 1k if you catch my drift.

nah I'd just say that it's like say... 500 credits for aaaing funk or something like that. that way the easy songs aren't worth much but as soon as the stuff gets really hard: ie. aaaing dance1 then you would get a lot. If u can aaa dance1 even once, never mind twice, then let me know.
