I was just playin FFR a minute ago and I thought to myself it's gonna take forever for me to get another 15000 credits to get to 25000! That takes a hell of a lot of time!
It's good that credits are worth a lot more now but I got to thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have some bonus credits for how many games we've played? I've played over 7000 games and I think it would be nice if you got a bit of bonus credits once you reached certain amounts of played games. Ex. 100 games = 50 bonus credits 500 games = 100 bonus credits 1000 games = 500 bonus credits 2000 games = 1000 bonus credits etc... Just a suggestion, I think it would be nice to have a bit of a special reward for all of the game time that's put in. It doesn't even have to be much, just a little prize for all the hard work lol.

Thats actually what I was thinking, but I didn't bother editing it. So what if it's a small bonus? Even then it wouldn't be worth quitting a whole bunch of songs cuz it still takes time to do that and I mean if ur only getting 500 credits for a 1000 games u quit that takes too much time to be worth it. It's just meant as a reward not something as a crazy goal to get to such as like 10000 credits for playing 10000 games. So make the intervals big (1000 games in difference at least) and make the credit gain under half.
100 --> 50 1000 --> 500 2000 --> 1000 5000 --> 2000 It takes so long to even quit that many games for how many credits you're getting. It's just a SMALL reward for your accomplishments whether you do it legit or not.

No, it wouldn't be worth the effort to implement, what meno said, and I've thought up better things to give people bonus credits for than this long ago, although I never posted them.
Before I read this topic, I was hoping you'd come up with a bonus that people with lots of credits could have.

My games played is so high for my score for the reason that at school for some reason Songs did not load but started.
My games played shot up like a rocket. |

Ok, here's what I came up with after I'd been playing for one month, even though I'd think it should be different now. I don't think anything like this is worth the effort to implement, though. I'd like to change a lot of these if it actually happened, and add some more things, like numbers of AAAs, and stuff like that.
These are all meant to only be able to be earned once. 10,000 perfects 100,000 perfects 1,000,000 perfects 2,000,000 perfects first combo of 400 first combo of 800 first combo of 1000 first combo of 1100 (I didn't know how big of a combo you could even get then, thought this was getting close to what the max was then lol). Completed 100 levels (fails don't count) Completed 1000 levels (fails don't count) Completed 5000 levels (fails don't count) Completed every level Completed every level 5 times Made 500 100+ combos Made 5000 100+ combos Scored 1,000,000,000 points Scored 2,000,000,000 points Scored 3,000,000,000 points 3 ranks in the top 10 6 ranks in the top 10 25 different songs FC'd 50 different songs FC'd 75 different songs FC'd Scored over 1,000,000 on a song for the first time Scored over 1,500,000 on a song for the first time Scored over 2,000,000 on a song for the first time Played over 240 hours Got all of the above

Maybe a nice bonus once you hit the billion point mark. That seems to be a respectable milestone.

I'd suggest the following if this were ever to be implemented
-Different bonus for first AAA of each difficulty rating. Bonus for For Masters Only would be GIGANTIC (25k maybe?), for For Guru's Only would be something absolutely ridiculous like 150,000 or something. -Top x every song, x can be as low as 10 -AAA'ing a genre. Funk/Rock give relatively small bonuses, HH gives a decent one, Misc gives a BIG one, Purchased gives a GIGANTIC one, and the rest can give whatever because they'll never be done. MAYBE Secret (worth 250k perhaps)...definitely not the rest. those are just off the top of my head...it's a nice idea though.

Thats a great idea, making the AAA rewards specific to difficulty, that way people won't just do the easy ones and get the bonuses (say if u had -get 25 AAA's) and the AAAing a genre would be extremely hard but quite a reward to get I also really like that idea, I've made a list and added some of my ideas, lets keep it goin guys this is lookin interesting

you definitly couldn't do anything to do with being ranked in the top 10 or other stuff to do with ranks. Then what would happen if you dropped out of the top 10 once someone beats ur score?

Nothing. You'd get the credit bonus as soon as you got the need rank--and it wouldn't matter what happened later. Once you get it, you get it.

Maybe this'll sound dumb, but I think that AAAing a song should yield double credits. IIDX, for example, has neat things like "Border Bonus" and "Perfect Combo Bonus," that kind of thing. It might not be worth the implementation though =/
