I Cant Sleep!!!

I have had like 10 hours of sleep in the last 5 days. I just dont feel tired and when i do feel tired i just cant fall asleep. WHY??

And I really doubt he's suffering from insomnia at his age (which if I recall is actually 13/14).

When i was 8 and had trouble sleeping, my mom got me a hypnosis meditation tape thingie which was basically a way to help people relax so they could get to sleep.
If you can't find or don't want to use that kind of thing, the main idea of the tape was to relax all the muscles in your body from toes up to your head and then imaging all your thoughts floating away like they were on clouds. Even when i can't sleep now i try to do that and it normally helps me.

If it carries on, you could always go see a doctor who will most likely perscribe you a low level sedative to help you get to sleep.

Either way, good luck and hopefully you will be in dream land soon. =D

Things that I've found help:

A) Masturbation
B) Large amount of milk, best if hot. (I know it sounds nasty, but it's not that bad)
C) Relaxation excersices, like angel-d said. Constrict the muscles in your toes, ankles, lower legs, thighs, up and up until you reach your head. Do that a few times. Might help you sleep.

It helps if you count backwards or name things in alphabetical order such as countries, cities, ect. That works for me everytime.

Back when I had insomnia, well, that was a bitch, you can't "just sleep", nothing apart from nigh on knocking yourself out.

When you feel tired, just keep on staring at something bright. It works for me, lol. It still sounds like you should go to the doctor though.

Taking a cold shower helps a lot. By cold I mean, wait till the water running from shower is the coldest, then soak yourself for 5-8 secs, dry off fast. You'll sleep like a baby.
