What really is a "n00b"?

I used to think it was someone who was new, but sometimes people call me a n00b. I have 3 AAA's and can FC Secret Zombie Room, and One Last Battle, and I can finish 20031023, Exciting Hiper Highspeed Star, and CIA Rave. People misuse that word all the time and It really annoys me. If you can give me a defintion of what a n00b is the I will be happy. And really think about it. Don't just say "someone who sucks, DUH!". I mean really think about it and give me a good answer.

Someone who has played a lot and still sucks, and refuses to take advice from others about how to do better.

Meteor this is Critical Thinking not the garbage bin if you wan't to flame go somewhere else.....
A noob by definition is someone who is new to a game and doesn't know what to do or the flow of a game and like Doug31 refuses to listen to Elite players and go call others noobs, unless of course they are truly Elite but thats a different story.
People who are calling you a noob billydude probably say it due to there own noobishness.
Also annoying people can also be called noobs.

I consider a n00b someone who doesn't understand....
Possibly they don't understand that they arent as "accepted" as some of the senior members. That to me is a n00b.

Lol thnx. Hi five. Im adding you as a buddy =). I admit that I am not good but what does noob sound like? New duh, thats what it is. A new person. AND I AM NOT NEW!!! I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 0.7 YEARS!!!!!

anyways... my definition of a n00b is someone who sucks at a game so badly that its funny or someone who is relatively new to a game and acts like they are the GOD of the game...

Okay I dont apply to either of those really. Someone who sucks is someone who is REALLY BAD. When I first started playing FFR I was a noob in your definition (mine too). I thought it was like impossible to finish Secret Zombie Room and I died on Bonus Yoshi round and I got tons of averages and goods on Trip to the moon. But Im not like that anymore. I dont suck, Im not really good but I am decent.
