Well, yeah, the chart in itself is a generalization, which was bound to happen with this subject. And being drawn up in two minutes.

And of course, the chart's based off of a completely biased standpoint, such as someone's friends or parents. This chart would apply to the stereotypical parent's reaction when they find out their 14-year old daughter is going out with a 17-year old guy.

While objectively, a 16-year old could have the same maturity of a 22-year old, I'm merely saying that the chart represents the (biased) views that society as a whole holds.

Post-abortion complications. The woman can and may very well die, just like the risk of giving birth.

Thanks for all of the help guys it really, really got me thinking and I'm glad that you guys actually gave your honest opinion instead of saying what I wanted to hear. I used some of your ideas and things seem to be turning out ok. She is starting to think about what she's going to do more and I'm sure most of the reason was from me talking with her and your guys' ideas. Everybody reasured me and I'm grateful for that. Thank you.

Yeah, it's true, girls mature faster than males do. But I don't care who you are, a 13 year old girl is not old enough to be a mother in our society. Being thirteen means you can't work, and you can't drive. The only option is for her mother and father to take care of the child, but more often than not, girls who do get pregnant at a young age don't come from the best households.

My mom wrote a book on the subject, I did't ready it, but I'm pretty sure there is a rule that if your parents are experts in a subject, that you automatically have more say in a matter than others.

I kind of made that up right now, but I think it's a pretty valid conclusion.

just saying i can relate to you. My sister just got pregnant and she is 17. the guy who did it is a dick. and i swear if he makes one more threat towards my family im going to blow him away. My sister wants to do every thing on her own and she thinks the "guy" is going to help. i dont think so.she is not even living with us anymore. but it will all work out in the end.Just keep comforting her and telling her things are going to be allright whether you think that is the truth or not. Help her out whenever you can.

im pretty sure that its not safe to have a child that young..... her small body will not be able to support it.....

age of consent rly depends on the state, goin by NY standards there so it could be as young as like 14, so the guy could still get hit with jailtime and child support issues and stuff.
