Well, even if the girl does not want to get the guy in trouble for knocking her up, don't her parents have any say in this? I mean, they find out everything eventually in a situation like this and she is still underage. |

I just thought about it.
I'm 18. If I had sex with a 14 year old right now I would send myself to prision. What a f*cking creep. |

Well, this is my first time looking at this. It's her dumb fault she f***ed this guy and didn't use protection. She's just lucky she only got pregnant. I'm sorry if this appears as mean, but its the real world.

I don't see any real reason for her not to put it up for adoption. Never mind the fact that abortion is wrong - since she wants to keep the baby, having an abortion would be a traumatic experience that would scar her emotionally. There's no good reason for her not to put it up for adoption.
Also, attn everyone: this isn't the garbage bin, so send your joke responses somewhere else, okay? |

Because in America, a four year age difference is SOOOOOOOOO creepy, yet no one cares if your 34 and the other is 38.
RIGHT?

I don't date based on age, but maturity instead. Generalizing is retarded.

It's a necessary evil. Surely you agree that a line has to be placed somewhere? Without any sort of age of consent laws we'd have people running around ****ing five-year-olds and getting away with it.
Obviously there are going to be exceptions to the current age 16 law, but as the bar gets lower and lower, more and more kids that aren't ready will jump over it, which will result in cases both psychological and physical that are much worse to the victim (like this one!) than the occasional "unfair" cockblock is to those of you who just can't wait. If you could quantify maturity level and draw a line an one specific point, I'm sure the Supreme Court (not to mention the zillions of professional psychologists out there) would be more than happy to hear it. EDIT: Also, "generalizations are retarded" is a generalization. >_>

You know that is really sweet of you to do something like that to her. I kinda know what your going through, one of my friends was in the same situation. I would help in little ways. Like for Christmas buy her some baby clothes and ask if she may need anything. Just don't get so involved that she's dependent on you, she will struggle in the begining but she can't be dependent on someone else. Good Luck!! Reply to me if you need any more help or advice, I'd be happy to help.

a) immature 18 year old idiots who are void of all common sense do exist and b) ~15 year old kids who clearly surpass the previously mentioned in nearly all aspects of intelligence and maturity exist as well. I'm just stating that dating A over B and using age as the reason is a rather shallow decision. OH THE IRONY. |
