Unless you are one of the Fore people, of eastern Papua New Guinea. Their acts of 'endocannibalism' have led to the continued transmission of kuru, a spongiform encephalopathy. Kuru is a disease caused by prions, misfolded proteins that deposit in nervous tissue and cause degeneration. One of the better known prion diseases in humans is Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. These are in the same general group as mad cow disease. The incubation period for some of these diseases can be up to 50 years, suggesting that there may be outbreaks in the future.

Back on topic though, I definitely would've jumped on one of them there shiny tokens if I had been paying attention. Glad so many awesome people have donated, and I'm really excited for whenever this bad boy gets underway.
