It's like you can feel tugging and pulling as if you were lightly tugging on your hair, but protruding from the spot that received anesthetics. That's probably the most you can feel. Poking, prodding, rubbing, scraping, anything else you don't feel at all.
When I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time, I was put on general anesthetics. Not to be confused with 'local anesthetics' which is being described above. General anesthetics make you lose consciousness and/or a lapse in memory. You can stay awake during general anesthetics, but you're in a trance of unconsciousness, which is what is translated to those hilarious YouTube videos of people saying funny things after getting their wisdom teeth removed.
