I mean you could just go without passes, but then you basically can't check out anything at the congress centre itself (dealers, rave, shows, etc.) and any hotel panels/events—that's basically what the pass entitles.

Pretty much what I'm doing. I might consider grabbing a single day pass, but I'm going to see people first and foremost.
