Default Re: Songs of the Week (July 26, 2013)

If you thought MFDFY was bad you should be glad you didn't play my version of Gaussian Mist 2. >:3

But yeah, the file just felt... I dunno, it felt similarly awkward to GM2 (for those of you who've played it, VERY awkward JS and trill patterns at 250+ BPM). It didn't look like something I would enjoy, and frankly apart from that JS pattern, it looked incredibly easy for an 80+. You know, Pandora and Revo syndrome, but not NEARLY as bad as either of those files, spike-wise OR going by quality. (Pandora might just be me acting madcuzbad, but Revo is legit terrible, you and I all know this)

Atop the World: Easy listening song, the piano flourishes were properly done, and overall enjoyable. I disagree with the ending being all colourmanias like that when the rest of the song is straight-up; it really messes with the mind and just isn't necessary in a song this slow and easy. -koffguiltyheretookoff-

Dead Throne: Best of the four releases. It's just fluid and fun. Not really much to say except I really enjoyed it.

Rising Blue Lightning: Long song. Although to be honest... hi19 you did a pretty good job stepping this. I think I might have enjoyed a cut just a LITTLE bit more than the entire thing, but it's a small gripe in the long run.
