i could never work in customer service, people are too crazy

customer service stories guys ??

today at work some lady was yelling at me on the phone, she told me that we told her brother (who dropped off her dog to groom at 4:30) to come in the morning to pick it up, I finally got frustrated the second time I was talking to her, and I said, WHO told you that? Who told you to come get your dog in the morning?

She was like, WTF, who is this, so I said my name, then she's like, ok first of all don't you ever raise your voice at me again. (note: not even close to yelling, she was yelling at me) Secondly my brother is on the way to get the dog NOW (this is already 5 minutes after closing) She said it'd take him five minutes.

I said, I'm sorry I'm not trying to take a tone with you, I'm only saying that he signed a paper saying when the pick up time was, and we left messages telling him we closed at 9 o'clock. The registers are closed and I don't have any say in that, but if you come, he can pick the dog up for free.

And I said, Bye. Then she started cussing when she put the phone down. The first time I called her, she was like, WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME. I TOLD YOU PEOPLE A HUNDRED TIMES TO CALL MY BROTHERS NUMBER. IM IN SAN ANTONIO. I was just like.... ok ok ok sorry I'll call him I was only calling the number that was written down, and she was all god you people are retarded.

But the store manager was like ok sure let him come in and pay I'll open the register back up but she's not allowed to come back here again, cuz that lady's crazy. And I was like, alright, great. Because some people are lunatics. he showed up 15 minutes later and paid. When I was carrying out dirty towel bags he asked if the dog was in the bag. wtf man, idk.
