leonid and others have asked me when I'll be starting a Spring pack and were kinda surprised to find out that I don't actually plan on making one. I planned on stopping the FFR Season pack series after the release of FFRCP Winter 2011 (I said it on the day of release jeez nobody reads) for the following reasons:
1. Autumn and Winter consequently barely received reception/feedback compared to Summer. A loss of hype and interest after the first pack as far as I'm concerned. 2. The number of downloads, from the last time I checked before Megaupload went down, has dropped significantly with each pack release. Again, a loss of hype and interest after the first pack as far as I'm concerned. 3. Lesser submissions, -especially- when I enforced that stupid no japan vocals rule for Winter when there were clearly ways and loopholes to work around that. No one said you couldn't step songs of other languages let alone instrumentals. A lot of people didn't catch this basically. All in all, is there really a point for me to continue a pack series that gets less interest and hype with each release? If I abandon the Season packs now, I'll have to come up with something new for a pack essentially. And this isn't for awhile until I'm absolutely certain I'll have the time to juggle between managing a pack and real life etc. I've left a poll here. The community speaks out and decides at this point. What do you want?
