wanna give me some guy advice?

Ok so a couple months ago my good friend that i have had a crush on for almost a whole year asked me out. and i surprised everyone by saying no because i wasn't ready for a relashonship yet. and now he is one of my best friends and i like him alot but the problem is that mt other friend just so happend to be the object of his affections, not me, i know this because they both told me that she liked him and another guy and she decided to go out with the other guy like a sampling service and then he dumped her and the very same night she IMed me telling me that she was going to ask todd out and i called todd and told her all of the mean stuff she did and i said "so are you gunna go out with her" and he said "yeah she's hot and she likes me so whats the problem?" and i told him that if she was willing to hurt him once she'd be willing to do it again but he didn't belive meand now their going out and its going great but where does that leave me? and on top of that their both coming to my birthday party tommarow night and i think they might come together and that'll be really weird!!! what should i do
