disagree. the walls are a lot easier to PA on 1.2/1.3 for me than 1.0 because my jumptrilling doesn't have to be as precise since all of the arrows are closer together. you are writing off the argument without really thinking about it or trying it yourself.

yeah, it's hard, but it's easier on higher rates even though it's faster because the arrow spacing makes it more forgiving

Rates: must be in increments of 0.1 (1.1, 1.2..) Levelrank: works as the same, except AAA's and better scores on higher rates will override worse scores, no matter what rate they were achieved on. Credits: Normal credit gain, it does take a LOT of credits to unlock the purchased & secret songs - more reason for people to PLAY FFR, and maybe get rewarded while doing so! Grandtotal: Grandtotal is something that's been around for a long time, and since we've had gamewhore competitions and such, either rates should give NO grandtotal or VERY LITTLE grandtotal (maybe, reduced by what rate you used.) The reasoning for this is that it is very easy to exploit vastly sped up songs for grandtotal. My suggestion for grandtotal: reward grandtotal, but divide it by the rate with which it was achieved. Example: You want to whore EHHS on 1.5 for grandtotal, but you receive your grandtotal divided by 1.5 This way, let's say you played EHHS 3.0. You receive your grandtotal divided by 3. The reasoning is, you can play EHHS 3.0 THREE times during the time in which you can EHHS 1.0 ONCE. Either way, if you received the same scores, you will be given the SAME GRANDTOTAL. EHHS 1.0 GT: 1,000,000 (120 seconds long, 8333 GT per second played) EHHS 1.5 GT: 666,666 (80 seconds long, 8333 GT per second played) EHHS 2.0 GT: 500,000 (60 seconds long, 8333 GT per second played) EHHS 3.0 GT: 333,333 (40 seconds long, 8333 GT per second played)

Do you have any idea how hard it would be to match your x1.0 score on anything over x1.4? If you put in more work towards a song i dont think you should be given less reward, that doesnt make sense to me.

My point is that the GT you would be getting from songs on higher rates is already reduced since your score will be much worse, adding your reductions to that seems unnecessary, IMO anyway.
Edit: I think everything else you suggested sounds awesome

I was actually thinking that credits should be increased by rate, multiply base credits by rate.
This way if you bomb a rated file, you potentially recieve less credits than you would had you pkayed on normal rate. This would also work for rates below 1.0.

but im afraid of people whoring shit on like 3.0 rate for credits because FCs (even mashed FCs) give a lot of credits imagine someone mashing EHHS 2.0 for credits idk
